Venus transit and Park Geun-hye’s victory

Geun-hye  (born 2 February 1952) is the president-elect of South Korea following presidential election on 19 December 2012, and is the first female president of South Korea. She was the chairwoman of the conservative Grand National Party (GNP) between 2004 and 2006 and between 2011 and 2012 (the GNP changed its name to "Saenuri Party" in February 2012). Her father was Park Chung-hee, who was president from 1961 to 1979. She is generally considered to be one of the most influential politician in Korea since the "three Kims" (Kim Young-sam, Kim Dae-jung, and Kim Jong-pil).

The Full Moon eclipse of June 4 occurred in sidereal Scorpio and in the constellation Ophiuchus.  From the chart we can see that it was important for Seoul since it was placed on the horizon axis. The Sun conjoined retrograde Venus by 2.5°, slightly preceding the Venus Transit. This Full Moon is of special significance because the Moon’s placement is near the exact same location of the new Earth-Venus synodic cycle, thus with the same theme.

The Lunar Partial Eclipse  transit invites us to become energetically wide open to breathe in the infusion of feminine energy about to emblazon the Earth through the Venus Transit. It brings us to the realization that this lunar cycle is about establishing a greater equilibrium between the masculine and feminine principles with in ourselves. This too is the theme that will express through the new 584-day Earth-Venus cycle—surrender to the Divine Feminine Essence in life—to allow it to bring the abundance, beauty, and love we all seek to have in our lives and in our world. It is a major shift from the masculine dominated mindset to a more feminine approach. Humanity is being asked to surrender the modality of fighting to survive, of having a focus on self and personal gain. This surrender is the only way to alleviate that struggle. It is by embracing the unconditional compassion to express love in all areas of our lives and to care for all life that will change our world. [1]

Eclipses can be progressed to discover when their  promise can be expected to be fulfilled. H.S. Green in his Mundane or National Astrology explains:

The place of an eclipse can be directed in a mundane map and the direction is always to the cusp of the next of the four angles at which it will arrive in the ordinary course of mundane rotation. This will constitute the conjunction or the opposition of the mid-heaven or of the ascendant.

Shown above is the eclipse progressed to 19th December when the elections took place and Park Geun-hye  became the first female president of South Korea. Notice that the Sun along with Venus occupies the MC. The original Sun-Moon eclipse axis coincides with the meridian axis fulfilling the promise of the eclipse.
