Mundane
astrology , the most ancient branch of astrology , is the study of the affairs
of a nation judged from a horoscope set
up at the time of its official inauguration, the birth chart of its leader, and
various phenomena such as eclipses etc. The modern state of Pakistan was established on 14 August 1947,
9:30am, Karachi , gaining independence from the
British together with India .
[1] The analysis of the annual solar return chart is considered an important
tool for understanding the fate of a nation for that year. Shown here is Pakistan ’s
solar return chart for 2012. Notice the Venus-Pluto-Uranus T-square (along
with TNPs Hades-Kronos) positioned on the horizon axis.
In a
previous post I had mentioned that this
combination means:
A rebellion (Uranus)
is brewing. Leaders are under pressure
(Kronos-Pluto) for misappropriation (Pluto-Hades) of funds (Venus)[2].
Since all
these form an aspect to Pakistan ’s
radix Sun this combination acquires even
more importance. The Sun in mundane astrology
represents people in authority like the prime minister.
The next
question that comes to mind is when
would this pressure be felt. This can happen (a) when there are transits over
the relevant points (b) when by progression of the solar return chart the
angles once again align with any planet in the combination setting off the
meaning of the combination.
On 15th
Jan 2013 both these conditions are satisfied (a) Venus is transiting conjunct
Pluto and opposite its own solar return position
(b) the progressed solar return brings
Sun to the midheaven triggering the entire combination!
