Astro Meteorology of winter storm Nemo

Major winter storm to impact the Tri-state area today into Saturday.
Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 1 pm EST Saturday. Locations: New York City, Southern Westchester County, and coastal portions of Northeast New Jersey.
Hazard types: Heavy snow and strong winds.Accumulations: snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches, with localized higher amounts within developing snow bands.
Winds: north 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.Temperatures: falling into the 20s by this evening.[1]

In Astro Meteorology  weather condition is predicted using a chart  cast for the Sun's ingress into the  cardinal sign (i.e. 00 deg of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) relevant for the period. This chart is set using the coordinates of the  location.

The charts are interpreted using the 4th house as the main indicator followed by the first house. 50% of the overall prevailing conditions are described by the planets in the 4th house, their sign and the aspects they make to other planets, followed by the sign on the cusp and its ruler. 25% is from the 1st house - using the same formula. The remaining 25% is from the rest of the chart and in particular any planet in a close approaching aspect to the MC.[2]
It is hard to believe the planet Uranus, located so far from Earth could possibly play a part in weather on earth, but after many years of tracking the planets impact on weather, I am convinced the keywords we use for the resulting weather are valid. This is not to say the planet emits a visual, observable force, but to understand the position of the planet in relationship to other planets plus the position in the lunar phase chart.[3]

Shown here are (a) the Capricorn Ingress chart for New York  (above) (b) the Feb 10,  New Moon chart for the current period (below).

In both cases we have Uranus in the 4th. In the Capricorn Ingress chart we have Uranus sharply conjunct the 4th cusp  and Mercury on the 1st . Uranus is square Pluto which always intensifies weather conditions. Moon (with its connection to moisture)  in the 4th adds to blizzard conditions as mentioned in [3] below.

Uranus  cold, dry, record breaker, unexpected changes, reversals, unstable, lightning, squalls. Cold, dry air masses resulting in winter freezes and summer cold fronts are attributed to the power of Uranus. High barometer and very high wind velocities can be found under its influence as well. Sudden, windy, rainy, cold. Mercury/Uranus sudden squalls or violent gusts. [2]

The key words we give to Uranus represents the dry north to northwest wind flow and high-pressure masses of cold(est) air that descend from the north in any season. In the winter season, the meteorologists often tag this kind of weather an "Alberta Clipper". When Uranus is aligned with Mercury, a closer to earth planet also representing cold, dry and windy conditions, there is a resulting weather event of extraordinary consequences. In charts that depict storms resulting in blizzard conditions, we would find additional factors representing the moisture content. [3]
