Eclipse changes EU fishing practice

The UK government has hailed a "historic" EU agreement to introduce a blanket ban on the "scandal" of dumping dead fish back in the sea. The agreement is the culmination of efforts by campaigners, including the chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, to have the practice outlawed. Currently, as much as two thirds of healthy fish brought on to fishing vessels is thrown back into the sea dead, because they are less valuable than the species the fishermen are targeting. A new technology on trial at Denmark's North Sea Centre  will use a modified fishing net that  catches only the big fish and allows the small ones to escape.

In this post we will use the chart for the solar eclipse of May 21, 2012 to explain the reasons for the change of heart taking place in EU members regarding overfishing.

Eclipse lunar cycles mark a time of shifting into a new octave of experience. They offer a time to resynchronize our selves with the ever-changing cosmic currents supporting our evolutionary progression in consciousness. Eclipses tend to bring about endings and new beginnings. The nature and timing of  the changes is    a function of planet-star alignments and subsequent progressions . An eclipse of this nature creates a relaxation and re-stimulation both in Earth’s energy grid and in our neurobiological resonance providing an opportunity to release the past and engage in a fresh start. The Pleiades and the conjoining stars of Perseus, in part, stimulate physical heroic action to seed new paths forward in our lives and to create infrastructures that support our fundamental nourishment and domestic wellbeing.

Our Full Moon [June 4,2012] eclipse brings us from our original Perseus-Pleiades Eclipse New Moon theme to the perspective provided by Ophiuchus (healing) .It invites us to become energetically wide open to breathe in the infusion of feminine energy of the  Venus Transit [June 6, 2012] . The new 584-day Earth-Venus cycle—is asking us to surrender to the Divine Feminine Essence in life—to allow it to bring the abundance, beauty, and love we all seek to have in our lives and in our world. This surrender is the only way to alleviate that struggle. It is by embracing the unconditional compassion to express love in all areas of our lives and to care for all life that will change our world. [1]

The eclipse chart is very significant for Brussels since the eclipse is placed on the IC.
If we progress the eclipse chart to Feb 27, 2013, the date of the news item we find that the angles have progressed to trigger the Sun-Moon-Mars-Neptune T-square of the eclipse.

Two important points to note are (a) Neptune is conjunct the star Fomalhaut of the Southern Fish (b) Sun is part of Chinese asterism Py, The Net

Neptune conjunct Fomalhaut

"When the Southern Fish rises into the heavens, leaving its native waters for a foreign element, whoever at this hour takes hold of life will spend his years about sea-shore and river-bank he will capture fish as they swim poised in the hidden depths. A man born to such a lot plies his skill along the shore; or he purchases at a fixed wage another's labor and sells for a profit what it has brought him, a pedlar in the many different forms of sea products". [Manilius, Astronomica, 1st century AD, book 5, p.333.]

Sun in asterism Py

The May 21, 2012 eclipse was  part of a Chinese asterism called Py, the Net, representing a hunting net. Sometimes Mao, the Pleaides, were also seen as a net and together they were called T’ien-Kang , the Celestial snares.  The Autumn hunt was a huge massacre of animals in which the Emperor himself in his war uniform took part.

However, in the royal hunts of ancient China, it was customary to drive up the game from three sides, but on the fourth the animals had a chance to run off. If they failed to do this they had to pass through a gate behind which the king stood ready to shoot. Only animals that entered here were shot; those that ran off in front were permitted to escape. This custom accorded with a kingly attitude; the royal hunter did not wish to turn the chase into a slaughter, but held that the kill should consist only of those animals which had so to speak voluntarily exposed themselves [2].
