Jupiter-Neptune and the new respiratory illness

Health officials in the UK believe they have the strongest evidence yet that a new respiratory illness similar to the deadly Sars virus can spread from person to person. Cases of the infection may come from contact with animals. However, if the virus can spread between people it poses a much more serious threat.

Mundane Astrology or the astrology of world events primarily uses solar ingresses for prediction. A solar ingress is the entry of the Sun into a sign of the zodiac; and of all the yearly phenomena, the ingresses into the four cardinal signs are considered the most important. These furnish a sort of framework or skeleton outline of the year, which is filled in and enriched by the various other astronomical phenomena (e.g. Lunations) that occur during the year. Of the four cardinal ingresses, the entry of the Sun into the first point of Capricorn, about December 21st each year marking the winter solstice  is considered by several authorities to be the most important chart for the entire year.

Shown here is the Capricorn ingress chart for London. Notice Neptune on the Ascendant  forming a T-square to Jupiter-Mercury-Venus.  Jupiter is in Gemini opposite Mercury and both these rule the lung and the respiratory system. The Ascendant or the First House in mundane astrology refers to the inhabitants of a place and also rules their health issues.

Jupiter-Neptune: Respiratory illness and allergies; need to strengthen immune system[1]

The news item is dated 13th February so that  the closest  lunation is the New Moon that occurred on 10th February. Notice that this too has Jupiter-Neptune (along with Mars-Mercury which have just conjoined Neptune) on the angles [ that is the  horizon or meridian axis].  The New Moon having duplicated the  effect of Capricorn Ingress chart, the results take place within that lunar month.
