Mindy McCready’s suicide and the Moon Wobble

(HEBER SPRINGS, Ark.) —  Perhaps there was one heartbreak too many for Mindy McCready. The former country star apparently took her own life on Sunday at her home in Heber Springs, Ark. Authorities say McCready died of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot to the head and an autopsy is planned. She was 37, and left behind two young sons.

In a previous post Moon Wobble: Accidents or Spiritual Release we have discussed the psychological effects of this phenomena.

During Moon Wobble the instability factor is high, resulting in more accidents, fires, plane crashes, freak accidents, floods, feats of nature, bizarre weather patterns, earthquakes, tornadoes, violence, Terrorism, riots, and political and personal upheavals. These Cycles bring suppressed energies in people and Mother Nature to the surface, erupting and disrupting…Each Moon Wobble lasts about 37 days (using a 5 degree Aspect Orb as Standard Deviation). Carefully consider decisions during this period. Like any transit, MoonWobble represents a cyclic process. There are stages of buildup, release and integration.

A look at the New Moon chart at Heber Springs shows the Nodal Axis coinciding with the Ascendant-Descendant (horizon) axis with the New Moon square both triggering the effects of the Moon Wobble. Also notice Mars-Neptune in Pisces conjunct on the IC of the chart.

Mars and Neptune, or Aries and Pisces are often times found in charts of violent suicide. The act (for instance, a gun to the head) is easy to see in hindsight with Mars being the violence and Neptune being something done in secret. However, motives can cloud the picture. What killed them really, the gun or profound sadness and loss?[2]

The incident occurred on Sunday, Feb 17 at the First Quarter Moon [29ta21] conjunct the star Alcyone [0ge11] of Pleides also called the Weeping Sisters

The Pleiades causes bereavement, mourning, sorrows and tragedies. [The Living Stars, Dr. Eric Morse, p.39.]

Stars on the angles of any mundane chart always provide further details of the event indicated by the chart. Here we find Uranus[6ar22]  on the MC [3ar54] conjunct Deneb Kaitos [2ar45]
Beta (β) Cetus, Deneb Kaitos, is a star in the tail of the Whale, or Sea Monster.

According to Ptolemy it (Deneb Kaitos) is of the nature of Saturn; and, to Alvidas, of Mars, Saturn and Mercury. It causes self-destruction by brute force.. [Robson*, p.162.]

Inhibitions and restraints in every way, psychologically and physically. [Fixed Stars and Their Interpretation, Elsbeth Ebertin, 1928, p.12.]

Almost as though the chart was pointing to the death  of a singer we have on the descendant of the chart [18cp52]  the star Sheliak [19cp04] of Lyra [3]:

"Manilius giving the astrological influences for the constellation Lyra :

"... and one may see among the stars the Lyre, its arms spread apart in heaven, with which in time gone by Orpheus charmed all that his music reached, making his way even to the ghosts of the dead and causing the decrees of hell to yield to his song. [Manilius, Astronomica, 1st century AD, book 1, p.30]

" The child of the Lyre will sing beguiling songs at the banquet, his voice adding mellowness to the wine and holding the night in thrall. Indeed, even when harassed by cares, he will rehearse some secret strain, tuning his voice to a stealthy hum and, left to himself, he will ever burst into song which can charm no ears but his own. Such are the ordinances of the Lyre, which at the rising of Libra's twenty-sixth degree will direct its prongs to the stars". [Manilius, book 5, Astronomica, 1st century AD, p.327].
