Makemake makes Citigroup pay for its misdeeds

Citigroup Inc. (C), the third-largest U.S. bank by assets, agreed to pay $730 million to settle claims it misled debt investors about its condition during the financial crisis.
The deal would resolve a lawsuit by investors who bought Citigroup bonds and preferred stock from May 2006 through November 2008, the New York-based lender said yesterday in a statement. The accord requires court approval and would be covered by existing litigation reserves, the bank said.

One of the standard tools in the arsenal of mundane astrologers is the Winter Solstice (or Capricorn Ingress) chart. This chart is considered so important that it is used by several astrologers as a chart for the entire year. More particularly it rules events till the Sun’s entry into the Aries – the next cardinal sign.

Shown above is  the December 2012 Solstice chart. Notice that it is very prominent for New York with the Sun conjunct Pluto forming a  part of  a very difficult T-square which aspects the meridian axis.

The Solstice chart also includes a significant Sun-Juno conjunction at 0 cp. Martha Wescott [1] provides the following key phrases for Juno.

Maintenance of one's rights or position with other; question of rights and fairness/compromise; enforcement of fairness.

The Sun-Juno conjunction is square the newly discovered Dwarf Planet Makemake [2],  (not shown) conjunct the MC of the Solstice chart.

Based upon an exploration of Makemake’s orbital parameters and its recent role during the 2008-2011 economic turn, Makemake appears to bring attention to leadership issues regarding the administration of resources; and in areas involving economics and finance. At the start of the finacial crisis in mid-2008, Makemake moved into a few year opposition to Uranus, and conjoined Saturn in opposition to Uranus in 2009, which occured in late Leo and under the auspices of Benetnasch and Canes Venatici, over the hind of the Lion. This area is about the manipulative and diversionary antics of old-paradigm world politics and big-business. [3]

As regular readers are aware,  one of the times potential promised in any mundane chart is brought to fulfilment  is when the progressed angles touch important planets and configurations in the chart. Shown below is the progression for March 19, 2013, the date of the new item. Notice the progressed angles once again touching the T-square – actually a Grand Cross with Makemake (not shown) at about 0Li on the descendant. The chart for the First Quarter Moon of March 19, 2013 carries the same message with the Sun on the MC [with Uranus-Mars] and Makemake on the IC.

The courts are making Citigroup pay for its misdeeds exactly in the line with the promise contained in the Solstice chart.
