Winter Ingress Yod brings changes in China

EVERY year in early March China convenes the annual full session of its legislature, the National People’s Congress (NPC). This year’s session, which ends on March 17th, will be more important than most, as it marks the arrival of the people who will run China’s government for the next five years.  At the NPC China is  streamlining its ministries to reflect the public's and leadership's concern at corruption and the wasteful overlapping of bureaucracy.

Shown above is the Lunar Return for the horoscope of China [Oct. 1,1949; 15:02 AWST, Beijing]. Notice Jupiter on the MC forming a yod with Saturn and Pluto. This yod has been discussed extensively in previous posts where we have highlighted examples of overindulgence and waste that needs to be corrected.

The ancient Chinese asterism Tchou-Wang was the Assembly  of Kings. One of stars comprising this asterism was tau Taurus at 12ge conjunct the MC of the above lunar return chart. This asterism set heliacally in October when the emperor or chief received the lesser kings of the nation and examined the management of their affairs.

In his snippet on the yod, Nick Fiorenza wrote [1]:

As the apex planet of this Yod, Jupiter impels wide-sweeping visionary action that establishes a socially sustainable and protective infrastructure for all people and all life. It impels the practical and well-grounded application of wealth and resources in an enterprising capacity to support the fundamental well-being of all life. Jupiter, on the Aldebaran-Antares axis, also impels expansive and mobilizing leadership in business and politics.

Venus-Jupiter [square] can impel an  over-indulgence ….(there is ) need to  take a stand against the established conditions …against the established order or authority directing our lives when those conditions or that authority are no longer in our best interest nor supporting our evolutionary freedom and fulfilment.

Makemake appears to bring attention to leadership issues regarding the administration of resources; and in areas involving economics and finance. It may also impel strategic planning and enterprising action to create environmental conditions that ensure a healthy, prosperous and abundant life for groups or for the people in general. Makemake may also act to sort out those who are truly worthy of being in a leadership role from those who are not.

While only time will tell whether the new leadership is serious about tackling corruption and waste, it appears that China is responding well to the  directives from the stars.
