Astrology of the Bali aircrash

A passenger jet  belonging to Lion Air Indonesia's biggest private discount has ended up in the sea off the Indonesian island of Bali after missing Denpasar airport runway but everyone aboard survived.

It is well known in astrology that New Moons or Full Moons can be the cause of serious accidents if afflicted planets occupy the angles. The chart for the New Moon [10 April] at Bali has a Pluto-Uranus square on the angles.

The New Moon [20ar41] is conjunct the star Baten Kaitos [22ar]. Zeta (ζ) Cetus,  Baten Kaitos, is a topaz yellow star in the Whale or Sea Monster.  Robson associates this star with “misfortune by force or accident”. [1]

Uranus [9ar11]  on the Descendant is conjunct the star Algenib [9ar20] in the wing of Pegasus, the Flying Horse.  32 Virginis [7li36] in the Virgin’s right wing and the Antennae Galaxy, in Corvus, the Crow’s right wing [8li20] are on the Ascendant [9li06].  Stars on the horizon and meridian axes are always critical  in  mundane astrology.

Corvus, the Crow which relates to flight, and the Virgin’s wing and the wing of China’s ancient Great Red Bird are all  here: these stars were transited at major air events including the 1994 crash of a US Air Boeing 737 near Pittsburgh and the 1996 collision and crash of a Saudi Boeing 747 and a Kazak Ilyushin 76 over New Delhi.[2]

Finally  Uranus on the descendant is at 22Leo (draconic zodiac) conjoining the stars of the Lion!
