The wild beast Lupus in Syria

A video which appears to show a Syrian rebel taking a bite from the heart of a dead soldier has brought strong condemnation. US-based Human Rights Watch identified the rebel as Abu Sakkar, a well-known insurgent from the city of Homs, and said his actions were a war crime. The main Syrian opposition coalition said he would be put on trial. The video, which cannot be independently authenticated, seems to show him cutting out the heart. [BBC May 14, 2013]

To understand a natal or mundane map in depth , it is important to use the correct orb of influence for planets and stars on the angles. In the Lunar Planner Nick Fiorenza gives us an important clue:

“A ±7° orb is used around the angles (ASC / DSC / MC / IC). Theses areas are where planets and stars are especially active” [1].

With the question of orbs cleared,  we look at the  chart of the Solar Eclipse of November 14, 2012 at Damascus. Notice that the Ascendant is 6Vi. On the Ascendant is Regulus [0vi01], the heart of the Lion. And the eclipse itself [21sc57] is conjunct the star Unukalhai, alpha Serpentis, heart of the serpent. Progressing the chart to May 14, the date of the news item,  brings the Ascendant  [21ar26 ]  to the conjunction of delta Andromeda [22ar] on her left breast just above her heart  (see figure above) and quincunx the eclipse Sun [21sc57]. In addition, the eclipse of May 10, 2013 at 19ta31 fell within two and a half  degrees of the opposition to the November eclipse and thus activating it.

Manilius  in his Astronomica [1st century AD, p.237.] describing the constellation Leo calls it the “monstrous Lion” who “devises fresh fights and fresh warfare on animals” and  whose sons love to  “adorn their proud portals with pelts” and display their prey’s  “mangled limbs”.

For the area surrounding the eclipse  we have the stars Unukalhai [22sc14] alpha Serpentis; alpha Lupus [23sc40], the wild beast; Agena, beta Centauri [23sc58] . Diana Rosenberg [2] writes:

Those born under the Serpent, Centaur and wild beast Lupus , for all their refinement, sense the feral savage level that lies beneath the veneer of civilization, the primal drive for survival and dominance. They have an inner sense of kinship with cruelty and savagery of wild beasts.

P.S.

Alexander Chizhevsky  a Soviet-era interdisciplinary scientist  proposed that not only did geomagnetic storms resulting from sunspot-related solar flares affect electrical usage, plane crashes, epidemics and grasshopper infestations, but human mental life and activity as well. Increased negative ionization in the atmosphere increased human mass excitability. Chizhevsky proposed that human history is influenced by the eleven-year peaks in sunspot activity, triggering humans en masse to act upon existing grievances and complaints through revolts, revolutions, civil wars and wars between nations. NASA reports that the Sun has unleashed its most powerful eruption of 2013 so far on May 13 at 17:05 BST. A chart drawn  for the solar flare at Damascus has Ascendant [19sc27] so that the horizon axis  coincides with both the May 10, 2013 [19ta31] and 11 November 2012 [21sc57] solar eclipses giving us another reason to pin the outrageous event on these two as explained in the text of this post.

More powerful images emerge if we  notice that on the Ascendant is Unukalhai, the heart of the Serpent while on the descendant is the Sun [23ta] conjunct the star Capulus. M34 Perseus, Capulus, is a star cluster in the sword hand of Perseus, who undertook a mission to kill the Medusa by cutting off her head. About this area Diana Rosenberg says:

Militant and imperious, with a dogged Taurean determination to strive and succeed and a dedication to the chosen field of endeavour, they are activists for any cause that they feel represents the good; sadly, the more extreme and unstable among them feel they have a right to destroy any individuals, groups or causes they perceive as enemies or evil. Capulus, a nebulous double cluster in Perseus’ sword hilt, has been associated with blindness or defective sight; here it more likely represents the spiritual blindness that fails to realize that we have a discerning, purifying power to triumph over melancholy and evil (sword) that is in our own hands (hilt).
