Paluweh, also known as Rokatenda, is
a stratovolcano mountain located on the small island of Palu'e Island, north of
Flores Island in Sikka Regency in the province of East Nusa Tenggara,
Indonesia. It is the highest point on the island with a height of 875 metres
(2,871 ft). On August 10, 2013, the mountain erupted. Initial reports have a
death toll of 5. Surono, a spokesman from Indonesia 's volcanology agency said
the eruption had begun at 04:27 on Saturday (20:27 GMT Friday) and lasted for
nearly four hours.
Richard
Nolle lists several triggers for earthquakes. One of them is the crossing of the equator by the Moon. This month, the
crossings occur on the 9th (southward) and 22nd (northward). Within the shock window of the moon’s equatorial crossing on the 10th the waxing crescent
moon phase at Paluweh occurs with the strongly
“eruptive” Uranus-Pluto aspect on the
angles triggering the volcanic eruption.
Shown above
is the Aries Ingress year chart which provides
the more important astrological backdrop
for the volcanic eruption. Notice Pluto
on IC – a point most associated with earthquakes – square Uranus/Mars on the
descendant, a most explosive combination. Progressing the chart to August 10 brings
Pluto to the MC opposite Moon on IC thereby providing the trigger for the
quake.
