“Big” Jupiter baby in Leipzig

One of the heaviest babies ever born in Germany was born last week  (26 July) at the University Hospital Leipzig. The baby girl, Jasleen, weighed a whopping 13.47 pounds and measured nearly 23 inches long. She was born vaginally, not via a C-section, according to a hospital statement. "We anticipated that the child would be big," said Holger Stepan, chief of obstetrics. "We prepared in advance by assembling a special team (of doctors and midwives) to be ready for any possible complications."

In mundane astrology, the phases of the Moon offer insight  into the events that occur around us. Any planet brought to the angles during a Moon phase is also very significant. Shown here is the 26 July  Disseminating Moon phase for Leipzig. Notice Jupiter in Cancer on the Ascendant i.e. just rising.

In astrology the adjective “big” is associated with Jupiter. Currently Jupiter is in Cancer – the sign associated with motherhood and childbearing. If we are looking at equal sign houses, then Mars, the ruler of the 5th house (children)  is conjunct Jupiter (big).
