Co-operating is key for evolution

Evolution does not favour selfish people, according to new research. This challenges a previous theory which suggested it was preferable to put yourself first. Instead, it pays to be co-operative, shown in a model of "the prisoner's dilemma", a scenario of game theory - the study of strategic decision-making. Published in Nature Communications, the team says their work shows that exhibiting only selfish traits would have made us become extinct. [1]

It would be an interesting exercise to check whether the stars confirm these findings. As before we will use the sidereal  Capricorn Ingress chart for London from where Nature is published.  On the Ascendant [29vi03] is the newly discovered dwarf planet Makemake [29vi48] in a quincunx aspect [150 d] to Neptune [1pi].

Nick Fiorenza’s initial explorations [2]  about this new planet suggests that:

Makemake's role is one about  getting clear about the use of and application of financial resources, for the benefit of all, rather than from geed and lust.  It is about creating environmental conditions supportive of a healthy, prosperous and abundant life for all souls.

In brief  Makemake is about unselfishness and co-operation . Planets that are rising on the Ascendant are bringing their energies to human consciousness much like the Sun at sunrise.

If we now progress the  sidereal Capricorn Ingress chart to 1st August 2013, the date of the Nature article, we find that the MC has progressed to the conjunction of Neptune [1pi30] which is itself conjunct the star Alpha (α) Piscis Austrinus, Fomalhaut, [3pi52] a reddish star in the mouth of the Southern Fish, Piscis Austrinus. Fomalhaut embodies the essence of sidereal Aquarius, the Waterman--inspiring future vision for an evolved humanitarian-based society based on unselfishness and generosity of spirit as the star picture of the Waterman pouring the water of life into the mouth of the Fish indicates.

Is it at all surprising that the Nature article should come to the same conclusion. It is about time we gave more credit to the ancient seers  who were able to decipher the message of the stars.

P.S.

The Sabian symbol for Jupiter [6ge44] which is square Neptune confirms our finding.

A well under the shade of majestic trees

The well preserves for the use of all living organisms the gift of the “sky”, the bounteous rain. Emphasizes the need for trust and co-operation with all life. This is in sharp contrast to the previous Sabian which shows “workmen digging for oil” – a symbol  associated with greed
