Uruguay legalizes marijuana

Uruguay is about to become the first country in the world to fully legalize the production and sale of marijuana, after a decade long grassroots movement headed by mostly middle-class consumers finally won the day in what is an atypically liberal South American nation. The lower house of the Uruguayan Congress has voted to legalise marijuana on Aug 1.

Of all mundane events, the ingress of the Sun into the cardinal signs is considered by many astrologers to be the most important event for the quarter that it rules. The chart for the Sun’s entry into sidereal Cancer at Montevideo, Uruguay is shown above. Notice the powerful T-square on the angles making it a very significant chart. If Uranus-Pluto is about “change and transformation” , the TNP Kronos is about “rules or laws” and Hades is about “all that has been rejected”  is it too difficult to see that this combination is leading to changes in laws so that what was considered harmful or even evil [1] is now acceptable…recall changes in gay marriage laws [2] etc.
