Eclipse and the Brazil warehouse fire

A fire in Brazil's largest port has burnt some 180,000 tonnes of raw sugar, damaging six warehouses and pushing international prices to a one-year high. The authorities in the port of Santos said it took six hours to bring the fire under control. The cause of the blaze is still being investigated. Brazil is the world's main sugar exporter, accounting for nearly half of international sales. Port authorities added that the fire began at around 06:00 local time  on a conveyor belt taking raw sugar into one of the warehouses.

The Full Moon eclipse at Santos has Neptune [2pi46] on the MC [3pi47]  opposite Mars [2vi06] on the IC. Since Mars is the ruler of the eclipse that occurred in  the fire sign Aries and Neptune is associated with the sea it is not surprising that the fire took place at a ware house on a port. But more interesting are the stars  on the MC which was transited at several great fires.

At the 64 CE Great Fire of Rome during Nero’s reign; in 1812 when three-quarters of Moscow was burned during Napolean’s invasion; at the start of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871; at the Brooklyn Theatre Fire of 1876; at the 1906 San Francisco quake  fires that ravaged the city; at the 1919 Mayaguez movie theatre fire, San Juan PR that killed 150; at the 1947 Texas City disaster: a ship loading ammonium nitrate fertilizer, on fire, went up in a titanic explosion that wrecked the city, knocked two planes out of the sky and obliterated a 50-acre chemical plant, a second ship exploded the next day: 552 were killed, 3000 injured, 200 were missing; at the first alarm of a 1966 New York City Fire that killed 12 firefighters (the worst loss of NY firefighters before 9/11); at the 1987 Aries Ingress preceding the Great Black Dragon Fire accidentally spilled gasoline started the worst forest fire in 300 years in vast areas of China and Soviet Union destroying prime timber land and many more [1].

The MC (meridian) of a  chart drawn for the 06:00 local time, when the fire is reported to have occurred, is 24 cn forming a T-square with the eclipse axis confirming the role of the eclipse in the fire.

Finally, in passing,  we note that the eclipse forms a hard aspect to Venus – the planet associated with all things sweet and sugary!
