Death of Ohio animal rights activist at eclipse

Ohio animal rights activist kills herself, 31 rescue dogs, police say
The founder of an animal rescue organization in Ohio committed suicide, taking dozens of pets with her, the Moreland Hills Police Department told CNN. Sandy Lertzman, 62, founder of the Animal Rights Foundation, was found dead November 4 inside her garage in a running car alongside 31 small rescue dogs, police said. Investigators found prescription vials in the vehicle and a suicide note inside the house. According to Sgt. Janet Boehler, a friend discovered Lertzman's body. It is unclear how long Lertzman and the pets had been dead before they were found. Lertzman was last seen alive November 3.

Readers who read my last blog will not be surprised to see dogs in the news once again. The Nov 3 eclipse with Jupiter conjunct kappa Canis Major (the Greater Dog) was on the descendant in the previous instance and here it is semisquare the MC [2vi] which is conjunct the stars Phecda [0vi40], gamma Ursa Major and Megrez [1vi14], delta Ursa Major. The Great Bear has been known as a beneficent and caring force so that Diana Rosenberg records for this area “There is usually a love of and concern for animals”.  On the meridian we notice Mars [11vi12] opposite Neptune [2pi37]. In itself this is a combination known for suicides because it can give rise to great emotional confusion. Behaviour can come extremely fitful and outrageous and actions can become violent  threatening great injury.

But in addition Mars is conjunct the star Zosma [11vi30]. For this star Elsbeth Ebertin records “inclination to melancholic moods” and Diana Rosenberg adds “possible brooding, depression and suicidal impulses”.  On the Ascendant [20sc02] are the stars of the Scales of Libra which often gives rise to people bent on setting right what they perceive as an imbalance or injustice. Keen individualists with high ideals and a formidable inner strength, these are energetic, courageous people who take chances and go their own way, sometimes becoming social innovators and reformers. Tropical Scorpio’s overlay of Beast-victim Lupus, punisher Centaurus and Libra’s karmic scales of Justice bring in souls willing to champion difficult or unpopular causes; some here victimize others or are moved by the victimization of others or themselves become victims. Mass deaths of people and animals have been recorded under these stars [1].
