Eclipse awakens worldwide anger at US spying

The US is facing growing anger over reports it spied on its allies abroad.

Shown here is the chart for the solar eclipse at Washington. Two points need to be noted. First that the eclipse is placed in the mundane 12^th house and second that the meridian axis coincides with the Mars-Neptune opposition. 

Discussing the Mars-Neptune opposition in Snowden’s chart, Alex Miller writes

The opposition to Neptune connects with cloak-and-dagger, hidden or covert impulses, motivations and actions, including spying and espionage (the one being engaged in by the US government, the other something they accuse Snowden of in his disclosures).

For  an eclipse in the 12^th house H.S. Green in his  Mundane or National Astrology  states:

Liable to bring discredit or drawback to the country or the Government. The country may meet with enmity abroad.

In mundane astrology, the 12th House rules rules things that are hidden or secret… such as secret government entities – spies.

Putting the two pieces together the news mentioned above is not at all surprising.
