The
Bangladesh Liberation War (26 March – 16 December 1971) was a revolutionary war
of independence in 1971 which established the sovereign nation of Bangladesh . The
war pitted East Pakistan and India
against West Pakistan , and lasted over a duration
of nine months. It witnessed large-scale atrocities, the exodus of 10 million
refugees and the displacement of 30 million people.
The current
New Moon [11sg] of 3 December was conjunct the star Antares [10sg] and fell on
the Ascendant [10sg] at Dacca .
Alpha (α) Scorpius, Antares, is a red binary star, fiery red and emerald green,
near the center of the constellation Scorpius and was sometimes called
"the Heart of the Scorpion".
According to tradition, Antares is of violent
character and is credited with being significant for a violent death,
either in battle or by process of law. [Fixed Stars and Their
Interpretation, Elsbeth Ebertin, 1928, p.70-71.] [1]
But
lunations (i.e. New or Full Moons) no
matter how dramatic are not the “hour hand” of the clock. At best they can be
looked upon as the “minute hand”. So where is the “hour hand”? For that we look
at the current Capricon Ingress chart
at Dacca . Notice
that it is very significant since it carries the Pluto-Uranus-Kronos-Hades T-square on the angles.
With TNP
Hades as a significator of the past and Kronos representing leaders we have here
a situation where leaders from the past or those linked to a past incident face
vindictive reactions or a confrontation with mortality (Pluto-Uranus). Progressing
this chart to 12 Dec. by the PSSR method brings Jupiter with its attendant Yod with Saturn-Pluto – a combination referred to
by Steven Forrest as the “Cosmic Paycheck” – on the MC. A Yod is
considered a very fated combination sometimes referred to as “The Finger of God”. Here we have the “Reaction
Point” of the Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto
Yod exactly conjunct the IC and the star
Antares on the day of the execution!
Jupiter
[8ge] referring to an incident from the past (since retrograde) is conjunct the
stars of Hyades which was connected to the Chinese asterism Py sometimes referred to “The Announcer of the Invasion at the
Border” [2]. As T’ien-Tsan it
also marked a time of strictness,
punishment, decapitation or flogging when any rebellious chiefs would be
punished severely [3]. We can see how elegantly the ancient Chinese asterisms
are not only referring to a past war
but also to the punishment being
meted out now under the Antares New Moon. Finally, for those readers who are interested
in looking at the execution chart (the “second hand” of the clock) the MC
[25ta] is conjunct the dreaded star Algol associated with hangings and
beheadings! [4]
