The Newcastle Ferry Fire

Seven people have been airlifted to hospital and 16 more have suffered smoke inhalation after a fire broke out  on a ferry in the North Sea. More than 1,000 people were aboard the King Seaways service which left North Shields, near Newcastle, at 5pm on Saturday, 28 December and was heading for Ijmuiden near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

In a previous post [1] we had seen how the 10 May eclipse (conjunct delta Fornax, the Furnace) placed on the Ascendant and activated by transit Saturn led to a fire on the Bangalore Express. The same eclipse prominently placed on the IC at Newcastle has also been activated by transit Saturn, causing the fire on the ferry. Notice the T-square of Pluto-Uranus-Zeus straddling the horizon axis. Zeus is a TNP that is directly associated with fires while Pluto-Uranus is accidents. Pluto [11cp24] and the Ascendant [12cp19] are conjunct the star Nunki. Nunki [2] is the Star of the Proclamation of the Sea [2] so that a fire or accident at sea is being hinted at. Progressing this chart by the Wynn Key Method to 28 December brings the T-square on to the meridian axis. Do note that transit Mars with its conjunction to  Zeus is igniting the explosive combination. As in the previous post, Uranus [8ar39] is conjunct Erakis,the Garnet star in King Cepheus’ crown. Cepheus was  “Inflammatus” and associated with Fires. But then there must be something that prevented a huge conflagration since the fire is reported to have been put out in 15 minutes. Notice that on the IC is Jupiter [16cn31]  conjunct Nu Puppis [17cn19] of the Celestial Ship Argo and tau Geminorium of Castor [15cn37]. According to legend the twins, Castor and Pollux were saviours of those at sea. [3]
