Israel-US diplomatic spat

Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon apologized to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry for comments where he derided Kerry as ”obsessive” and “messianic.”

Yaalon was quoted in an Israeli newspaper Tuesday saying Kerry’s peace efforts between Israel and Palestinians were naive and foolhardy, which triggered a diplomatic spat with Washington. ”The only thing that might save us is if John Kerry wins the Nobel Prize and leaves us alone,” Yaalon was quoted as saying in the Yedioth Ahronot daily. Transiting Pluto Opposition Radix Mercury

I'm sure you've noticed already how people can "break the rules" (of a  relationship, friendship, society) almost JUST TO GET OTHER PEOPLE  "GOING"--just to set up a struggle. They do it too by... being  indifferent... insisting on their own way of doin' things... presenting  something new. Now, sometimes these things  won't be JUST to create a struggle--sometimes the struggle will get  going almost all by itself; others will feel that their power is  threatened! And sudden incidents can be/feel almost  life-threatening/life-changing!

You will also see shifting power dynamics & power  struggles in groups, among peers or within "friendships"-- Stress can contribute to  showdowns (I'm mad as hell and I'm not taking it any more!) or force  inner confrontation; friendships may play this same role.  And let me  make this comment: things that seem to happen suddenly aren't really  sudden; they've been brewin' and stewin' a while... But it sure can seem  as though ALL OF A SUDDEN, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE (or, in practically an  instant, things are changed irrevocably.)
