Shown here
is the chart for the waxing Crescent Moon of Monday, 3 February at Majuro. Notice
how sharply it is placed on the MC. The
MC [28pi02] and the Moon [29pi13] are conjunct the star Scheat [29pi34]. Scheat
has a well known reputation of being connected with catastrophes and shipwrecks
but also with “sorrows and disasters that lead to new beginnings.
And now and then miracles!” [1].
The Sun
[14aq13] is conjunct Dhanab al Dulfim, [14aq14] epsilon Delphini, in the tail
of the Dolphin.
Just as the Lion is the King of the beasts, the
eagle King of the birds, so is the Dolphin King of the Fishes. Swift,
intelligent and friendly, the Dolphin is an allegory of safety and salvation;
from the ancient times stories have come down of dolphins rescuing the
shipwrecked [2].
