Accident at “Krittika” Crescent Moon

“You must not divert your attention from the smallest detail;
nothing exists without reason or has been uselessly created”

- Manilius, Astronomica, Book II, line 234 (ca 10 CE)

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A tree trimmer is recovering after he was rushed to a Pittsburgh hospital with a chain saw blade embedded in his neck. James Valentine was in a tree in Ross Township on Monday (April 2, 2014)  afternoon when he was struck in the neck by the saw. Another worker helped him down, and his co-workers left the saw in place to try to limit the bleeding.

A Moon phase becomes significant for a place when, among other things,  it aspects an angle. The Crescent Moon is, therefore, significant for Pittsburgh since it squares the horizon axis. As in the New Moon, the luminaries here also form hard aspects to the Uranus-Pluto square which is associated with accidents. Strangely the Moon [28ta32] is in the Vedic Lunar Mansion “Krittika” which literally means “the cutters” and has for its symbol an axe or a sharp edged instrument [1].

In her groundbreaking book “Secrets of the Ancient Skies” , Diana Rosenberg writes that one of the major discoveries that emerged out of star research was the vital importance of the constellation in detail so that each posture, position, length and breadth of every figure has its reason and meaning.

In line with Rosenberg’s research we find in the Crescent Moon chart the following connections to the neck. Can this be a coincidence at all!

Ascendant [22aq51] 41 Cygni [20aq54] in the neck of the Swan
Crescent Moon [28ta32] conjunct 11 Persei [27ta15] in the neck of Perseus and Algol [26ta22] the head of Medusa severed at the neck.
Saturn [22sc30] conjunct Unukalhai [22sc15] in the neck of the Serpent
Venus [27aq] conjunct Sigma 2809 Aquari [26aq45] in the Water Pourer’s neck
