Iranian mother teaches forgiveness – the new form of justice

Balal was standing on a chair, blindfolded and with a noose around his neck, when the mother of the man he stabbed to death seven years ago approached him, the Guardian reports. According to some interpretations of Sharia law, the victim’s family participates in the punishment by pushing the chair from under the condemned man. But this time, the mother of the victim slapped Balal across the face and then helped the victim’s father remove the noose. Photographer Arash Khamooshi captured the unexpected moment on April 15 in the northern Iranian city of Nowshahr.

The total Lunar Eclipse of April 15 occurring on the same day as the event in the news obviously had a lot to do with it as we shall soon see. That the eclipse was prominent for the place can be seen from chart below. Notice the following:(a) the eclipse axis is sharply square the horizon axis (b) the current cardinal Grand Cross straddles the meridian axis. (c) Venus [10pi12] exactly sesquisquares the Ascendant [25cn11].

The Grand Cross and the eclipse axis have the following asteroids linked to them – Ceres [25li]; Tisiphone [4cp] with Pluto [13cp]; Child [16cn] with Jupiter [12cn]. When  we include Mars [16li] and the newly discovered dwarf planet Haumea [20li] into the picture – the Grand Cross and the eclipse axis merge.

Pluto/Ceres/Child  Radical circumstances that have affected mothers and children

Tisiphone was one of the Furies, and among her jobs was to  punish those who committed "crimes against family or kinship."

Pluto/Tisiphone: The  most devastating justice is forgiveness.[3]

The dwarf planet Haumea supports a new birth in consciousness or new level of awareness about what is truly life supportive and motivates action to reorient the current destructive use of power and resources into a nurturing force that supports and protects life, home and family. [1] In this instance, through her example the mother of the victim taught us that “an eye for an eye” justice needs to be changed.

Finally, Venus which aspects the Ascendant is conjunct eta Aquarii, in the Water Pourer’s urn and the face of the healing goddess Gula. About this area, Diana Rosenberg writes:

These souls must make a great choice: whether to remain aloof to the anguish of others (or cause it!), or to learn sensitivity and compassion through their own painful experiences, becoming “wounded healers” who develop an impulse to help, save and restore. [2]
