Credit Suisse fined by US authorities

The Swiss bank Credit Suisse pleaded guilty Monday to helping U.S. citizens commit tax evasion over the course of several decades, the Department of Justice announced. Credit Suisse will pay the Department of Justice, the Federal Reserve and the New York State Department of Financial Services a total of $2.6 billion in penalties, the largest payment ever in a U.S. criminal tax case. The news comes at  the Last Quarter Moon – the chart for which is shown above. The Two significant points are (a) the luminaries are anchored to the Grand Cross through hard aspects (b)  Grand Cross straddles the horizon axis at Washington making it specially significant for the place.

Scorpio because of its correspondence with the eighth house has to do the profits of big business like banks since business is simply the result or product of relationships (Libra). If a bank has cheated the public by making  illegal profits it is only right that  karmic Saturn readjust the imbalance through a fine.
