A Chinese Market
A series of explosions struck a market Thursday in the capital of the
far western Chinese region of Xinjiang, causing an unspecified number of deaths
and injuries, China 's
official news agency Xinhua reported. Two vehicles plowed into people gathered
at the market in Urumqi
at 7:50 a.m., the news agency said, and explosives were thrown out of the
vehicles. One of the vehicles then exploded, Xinhua reported. CNN, May 22.
The charts
for (a) Mars station direct (b) the Last Quarter Moon at Urumqui (or Urumchi)
are shown here. The station Mars has activated the violent Grand Cross
involving Mars-Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto which is placed very significantly on the
horizon axis. As Mars separates out of this celestial formation, it signals
what might be best understood as the “tension release phase” of a Grand Cross,
a phase that brings “things”—in all those places of tumult and turmoil to a
head. Secondly, the Last Quarter Moon (May 21) which also straddles the horizon axis is
anchored to the Grand Cross through hard aspects so that it supports the Mars “tension release phase”.
Finally,
two other elements of the analysis show us why the event occurred in a market
place (a) the chart for the Sun’s entry
into Gemini – a sign ruled by Mercury, the god of trade, commerce and market
places – carries the same violent Grand Cross on the meridian axis (b) the
Sabian symbol of the Last Quarter Moon (0pi24) is a “A Market place”!
