New moon brings change of government in Egypt

Cairo (CNN), May 30  -- Former Egyptian military chief Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is poised to win his country's presidential election in a landslide -- though the legitimacy of his victory is already being questioned. Exit polls suggest el-Sisi won 95.3% of the vote, while opponent Hamdeen Sabahy garnered only 4.7%, according to data from the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research and the Egyptian TV channel MBC Masr. Egypt's state-run Ahram Online news agency reported an even more lopsided margin, based on unofficial results, with Sabahy only getting 3.5% of the vote.

The table above shows  that the “hour hand”  solar arc Pluto square the MC is the one responsible for the drastic changes taking place in the government.  We must not forget that for all practical purposes, Pluto is also conjunct Saturn which is square Uranus on the IC. This combination can be interpreted as breakthrough in a  long term problematic political situation. With transit Jupiter (“minute hand”) triggering this combination, there is a hint that all will work out well in the end.

The New Moon of May 29, places the Cardinal Grand Cross on the meridian axis. A powerful configuration like a Cardinal Grand Cross symbolizes the potential to break through as well as break free from whatever enslaves. On April 21, this unusual alignment of Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto was exact and separating, and as Mars now moves forward in direct motion it pulls apart, situations held taut by tension of fractious polarization.

The New Moon [8ge] makes a gentle trine to Mars [9li].  For stars conjunct Mars on the MC, Diana Rosenberg writes, “These stars bring about major changes in laws, mores, governments and ways of thinking..”
