Cleaning of the “waters”

News Item 1

It's not quite turning water into wine, but scientists in the United States have developed technology that turns cow poo into water. The McLanahan Nutrient Separation System, which has been developed by Michigan State University, is an anaerobic digester which takes waste and makes energy coupled with an ultrafiltration, air-stripping, reverse osmosis system. What goes in manure, comes out water clean enough for livestock to drink, or, at the very least, dispose of in an environmentally friendly way.

Perhaps more feasibly, however, is what this invention can do for manure disposal. The US Environmental Protection Agency says that poorly managed manure has consequences – poison drinking supplies, algae growth in water systems, and even air pollution. http://ind.pn/1ovEw8V  Guardian, June 4

New item 2

No river on our planet probably evokes the range of powerful religious as well as filial emotions in a whole population that the Ganga does. No river is probably more polluted and desecrated.

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi pledged during the elections to clean the Ganga, it was metaphorical and literal - the promise of good and clean governance and that of the gigantic task of cleaning not only the Ganga but all the rivers of India. http://bit.ly/1kSEofF India Today, June 6

Here is an extract from the previous post that will be directly applicable here.  As we can see  from the charts above and below it is also applicable to East Lansing, Michigan  and to  Delhi, India  where in both cases the Grand Trine  of the sidereal Cancer Ingress is anchored to the angles.

It is well known in astrology that important eclipses or ingresses that have long gone can be activated by transits.  Today, June 7, 2014, Mercury stations retrograde at 3 degrees of Cancer. Shown here is the chart for the Sun’s Ingress into sidereal Cancer on July 17, 2013 …….  A Grand Trine in the element of water, a rare astrological event linking Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces in harmonious aspects with each other is  very significantly anchored to the Ascendant.

Today’s Mercury station triggers the Grand Trine. (falling on Mars/Hades)

The Mercury station is taking place at 3cn conjunct the star Tejat, eta Geminorum that was part of  the ancient Chinese asterism Tsing, The Well. This asterism reminded the Chinese that it was important to clean the Wells and make sure that water was clear and fresh (the Chinese knew that unclean water  brought disease). Good water was hard to come by and digging wells was hard work, so no immoderate use of water was allowed.

So it should come as no surprise that the two pieces of news are connected by Mercury station in a water sign on the Chinese asterism of the well. Psychologically oriented readers will have recognized that this is not just about cleaning the physical water but also about cleaning and regenerating our individual and collective  psyches [2] – of  which water is a  metaphorical symbol.
