Neptune and the Campa Cola complex demolition

Time has run out for residents of Mumbai's Campa Cola society to save their homes from demolition. Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said, "Nothing can be done in Campa Cola case. Law will take its own course. Campa Cola's residents need to vacate illegal flats. The flats will be demolished soon." NDTV June 9

Campa Cola Compound is an apartment complex in the southern part of Worli in South Mumbai, India. The Campa Cola Compound was constructed on land leased to Pure Drinks Ltd in 1955, which was permitted by B.M.C in 1980 to develop it for residential purposes. Pure Drinks along with unscrupulous builders, Yusuf Patel, B.K. Gupta and P.S.B Construction Co erected seven buildings, two of which were high-rise buildings of 17 and 20 stories. During the construction period, the authorities issued notices to the builders to stop work. The builders were fined and they paid the penalty and resumed work. After the construction was completed nobody prevented the buyers from occupying their apartments or the buildings from forming co-operative housing societies.

Over the last two years the Campa Cola Compound Litigation has received mixed support from the public, political parties, as well as certain celebrities. The Supreme Court on May 30, 2014 declined to stay the eviction of the residents. As per an earlier Supreme Court order, the residents of Campa Cola society have been asked to vacate their apartments by May 31, 2014.

Shown here is the chart for the New Moon of  May 29, 2014 at Mumbai . It is obviously significant for the place since it is on the IC (4^th house cusp) .  Writing about the stars that form the backdrop to the New Moon, Nick Fiorenza writes [1]:

The New Moon [7ge21] was placed in the mundane  fourth house  that rules land, houses and real estate [2]. It was square Neptune [7pi33] – a planet associated with falsehoods and deception as well as victims.

On June 9, the date of the news item, Neptune stationed retrograde triggering the square to the New Moon, bringing an end to the unsuccessful campaign by the victims.

In astrology Neptune is  the planet of illusions, escapism, and victimhood.  But what is important to understand is that there are no victims. We co-create our reality.  The buyers knew  that the apartment complex was illegal but they chose to go along with the builders and the corrupt BMC officials.
