One in three cases of Alzheimer's disease worldwide
is preventable, according to research from the University of Cambridge .
The main risk factors for the disease are a lack of exercise, smoking,
depression and poor education, it says. Previous research from 2011 put the
estimate at one in two cases, but this new study takes into account overlapping
risk factors. Alzheimer's Research UK said age was still the biggest
risk factor. BBC; July 14
Richard
Tarnas identifies Uranus-Pluto squares to be linked to both “volcanic eruptions”
as well as “scientific and technological breakthroughs”. What is the
connection? Much in the same way as volcanic
eruptions bring into the open material
lying hidden in the depths of the earth so too scientific breakthroughs bring
to our conscious understanding, material that was lying deeply embedded in our
unconscious.
The chart
for the current Full Moon of July 12 at Cambridge
has the luminaries placed in angular houses with Uranus-Pluto in hard aspect to
the meridian along with Kronos-Hades on the MC. Uranus [16ar28] is conjunct the star lambda Cephei [16ar10] in the King’s head – an
area that Diana Rosenberg links to “head ailments and depression” [1]. Meanwhile for Kronos [8cn21] which aligns with V616 Monocerotis under the Unicorn’s head
[6cn25], she specifically mentions “Alzheimer's disease” [2].
As if
confirming this we have the asteroids Aesculapia [15cn] on the MC and Memoria
[8li] on the Ascendant for which key phrases provided by Martha Wescott are as below.
AESCULAPIA:
Physicians and belief-systems about the
health; symptoms and medical conditions
MEMORIA:
Memory; reminiscence; saved reminders of
the past.
