Conservationists Seek Protection for Monarch Butterflies

WASHINGTON— The Center for Biological Diversity and Center for Food Safety as co-lead petitioners joined by the Xerces Society and renowned monarch scientist Dr. Lincoln Brower filed a legal petition today to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seeking Endangered Species Act protection for monarch butterflies, which have declined by more than 90 percent in under 20 years. During the same period it is estimated that these once-common iconic orange and black butterflies may have lost more than 165 million acres of habitat — an area about the size of Texas — including nearly a third of their summer breeding grounds. In this post we will go back to the lunar Full Moon eclipse of April 15, 2014 to see how it influences the news above. But first let us remember that the Full Moon brings to culmination in the lunar cycle  a theme that starts at the New Moon of March 30.

For this I refer my readers to Nick Fiorenza’s excellent post [1]  on the March 30 lunar cycle, from which the following is extracted.

This New Moon catalyzes an unprecedented lunar cycle providing opportunity for revolutionary change in many facets of our personal lives and in the world. The main event occurring in this lunar month is the Mars-Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto Grand Square. It is a doorway that requires a decisive choice to leave one way of being, to live the wisdom gained from the past, and to morph into a new way of being and into a new world paradigm yet to unfold throughout the remainder of the 2010s.

The April 15 Total Lunar Eclipse occured just into sidereal Libra conjoining Ceres and Vesta opposite the Sun-Juno-Eris conjunction.  The Lunar focus is Ceres and Vesta under the Archturian directive—focus, dedication and commitment to the fundamental nourishment required to support all life on Earth and for our evolutionary fulfillment.

Notice also the Vesta-Ceres-Moon conjunction nesting between Mars and the North Lunar Node, creating one entire energetic directly in opposition to the entire stellium of planets including the Sun-Juno-Eris conjunction and the Mercury-Uranus conjunction. Thus our Lunar Eclipse became another significant dynamic of the Grand Square.

This Grand Square creates a primary catalytic turning in and engagement of the 2012-2015 Uranus-Pluto Square and its theme, Revolution and Revelation, which is the first quarter point of stimulus to action in the 138-year Uranus-Pluto cycle that began in 1966. It triggers the outward actualization of the Uranus-Pluto Square, the Jupiter-Uranus Square and the Jupiter Pluto Opposition, a turning that will ensue over many years to come.

The new Earth-Vesta and Earth Ceres synodic cycles impel us to get very clear about what is essential to ensure our safe and harmonious evolutionary experience and fulfillment on Earth, and to ensure souls birthing into this experience in the future will also have this opportunity. The quality of our environment and of our biological condition must become a priority over amassing power and resources to dominate and control life based upon personal motive.

If now we progress the lunar eclipse chart to August 26, 2014, the date of the news we find the eclipse axis square the horizon and the Grand Cross straddling the meridian triggering an event whose theme is in line with the essential message of the eclipse.
