Goldfish recovering after 'high-risk' tumour removal

A goldfish in Australia is recovering from surgery after a life-threatening tumour was removed from its brain in a "high-risk" operation. George, whose owner lives in Melbourne, was put under general anaesthetic for the $200 (£125) procedure.Dr Tristan Rich, who carried out the operation, told Melbourne's 3AW radio station that the fish was now "up and about and swimming around". Vets say the 10-year-old fish is now expected to live for another 20 years.

"George had a quite large tumour on the top of his head that was growing slowly, and it was beginning to affect his quality of life," Dr Rich from the Lort Smith Animal Hospital said.

George's owner was given the choice between an operation or having the fish put to sleep. "She was dedicated enough to give it a go," he said. BBC; September 15 http://www.bbc.com/news/29210991

This post will illustrate another example of how an eclipse that is almost a year old continues to influence the now.  Shown here is the chart for the Full Moon eclipse of October 19, 2013 drawn for Melbourne, Australia.  The aspect that stands out in this chart is the Uranus-Pluto on the horizon axis. Among other things, Uranus-Pluto squares are linked to life threatening situations which when properly handled can lead to complete transformation. Ebertin provides the following key sentences:
“Pioneers, reformers. The attainment of great objectives by an immense application of effort; the creation of new conditions of living”.

The table below gives the fixed stars in the constellation Dorado, the Gold Fish [1]
The eclipse Moon [25ar45] was conjunct delta Dorado [26ar28]

Progressing the eclipse chart to September 15, the date of the news brings the following significant configurations to the angles.

(a)   the progressed MC [10le52] throws a quincunx to Pluto [9cp13] and a trine to Uranus [9ar53]. Uranus is conjunct the star mu Cephei, in the King’s head [9ar54]. The MC is conjunct Blazer OJ 287 Cancri,[10le45]  in the Crab’s head and several stars in the Hydra’s head so that we have a direct reference to “head ailments”. The Moon [7ta28] opposite Saturn [12sc08] is aligned with the Nodal axis and square the MC. Here the Moon is conjunct alpha Dorado [8ta] – the Goldfish.

(b)   Mars [2vi38] opposite Neptune [2pi45] is square the Ascendant [2sa24] which form aspects to the asteroids Askalaphus [8vi] and Psyche [4sa37] [2]. The combination of these two asteroids refers to medical conditions that affect the head or brain. Mars-Neptune links to actions (Mars) based on feelings of empathy and Compassion (Neptune). In addition, Mars [2vi] is conjunct the stars Megrez, delta Ursa Major [1vi16] and Phecda, gamma Ursa Major [0vi41]. Ursa Major is the Mother Bear whose protective maternalism can be seen in individuals who are concerned about animals and the environment. On the descendant [2ge] is the star Mirfak, alpha Perseus – the rescuer.

Finally, as we have seen so often, Sabian symbols sometimes give us a surprise when we notice how relevant they are to a situation. Here we find the Sabian for Pluto [9cp13] is:

Phase 280: An Albatross feeding from the hand of a sailor
Every living entity plays a role in the world’s ritual of existence; beyond these specific roles, which too often separate one entity from another, the communion of love and compassion can bring together the most disparate lives.
