Greg Norman injured by chainsaw

Greg Norman is recovering in hospital after almost losing his left hand in a chainsaw accident. The 59-year-old Australian, who won the Open in 1986 and 1993, posted a picture of himself recovering at a US hospital. The former world number one, who last week posted a photo of himself cutting back a small tree, tweeted:  "Working with a chainsaw ALWAYS be respectful of the unexpected. "I was one lucky man today. Damaged but not down & out. Still have left hand." BBC; Sept 14.

While details of his accident are not yet known, it is believed he may have been working on one of his properties on Jupiter Island, Florida. Shown here is the chart of the last solar eclipse of April 29 at Jupiter Island. Notice that that the eclipse is significantly placed square the horizon axis. The eclipse is conjunct Mercury which is opposite Saturn on the MC.  Progressing the eclipse chart to Sept 14, the date of the news, brings the eclipse and Mercury to a conjunction with the progressed MC.  On its own Mercury-Saturn is a combination that can refer to an accident involving a hand but we will see how the case builds up with other references to accidents involving limbs.

The eclipse [9ta] is conjunct the asteroids Hephaistos [8ta] and Toro [10ta]

Hephaistos: Problems with the limbs
Toro: doing hard, physical work; sports and by association sportsmen

On the MC of the progressed chart are stars in Cetus’ head which formed the Arabic asterism Al  Kaff Al Jidmah, “The Amputated Hand” [1][2]
