Jesus may have been crucified because his followers
were carrying weapons, according to a scholarly analysis of New Testament
books. Dale Martin, a professor of religious studies at Yale
University , says that this aspect of
stories about Jesus, as told in the gospels, has received too little attention,
but could alone explain Jesus’s execution and also show that the man from Nazareth

The 12th house represents matters that are hidden,
restrained, secret, incapable of action or of being fully understood. Traditionally,
however, it is a wholly unfortunate house, associated with sad events,
sorrow, anguish of mind, tribulation, captivity, imprisonment, persecution,
hard labour, all manner of affliction and self-undoing.
From this
definition of the 12th house,
it is clear that the persecution of Jesus would fall under this house. Moreover,
the eclipse is conjunct the star Acrux [12sc]. Alpha (α) Crux, Acrux, is a
triple star at the foot of the Cross – a figure linked directly to Jesus’
crucifixion [1].
It is
important to remember that the several standard ways to progress a radix chart
are all valid. Here we will use the Wynn-Key Return method [2] . Shown here is
the eclipse chart angles progressed by this method to September 18, the date of
the news. This brings the Ascendant [10aq] to a square with radix Sun-Moon [21sc], TNP
Poseidon [20sc]. (The entities shown inside the wheel are transits for Sept. 18).
So we can see that transit Jupiter [13le] is square radix Saturn [13sc] and triggers
the stellium Saturn-Sun/Moon- Poseidon.

Kronos-Hades:
Famous historical persons…with Poseidon…someone
connected with religion or spirituality.
As we have seen quite often Sabian symbols can give
us a surprise. Here the Sabian symbol for Uranus [9ar22] in the eclipse chart
appears to refer directly to a teacher like Jesus. Jesus as the Avatar
incorporating the Christ-Impulse, came to replace the old tribal order with a
new order . (Diana Rosenberg writing about the stars in this area says that
they give rise to people who are, “Strongwilled, combative and eloquent, with
powerful visionary imaginations, they passionately espouse their beliefs
sometimes to the point of fanaticism".)
Sabian Phase 10
10 Aries is “A Teacher gives new symbolic
forms to traditional images”.
In this phase we find the capacity to restate the
problem inherent in the first phase, i.e. the problem of focusing one’s
energies emotional drives and cultural values which exclude more than they
include. As a result there now arises in consciousness a desire to reformulate
at a new level much that had been taken for granted because it indeed
originally had been an evolutionary necessity.

This chart is calculated with the planetary
positions for the date for which the Wynn-Key chart is required, but the chart
angles are based on the preceding and following Solar return chart angles. The
R.A. of the midheaven is determined by interpolating between the R.A.s of the
two Solar Returns (which are typically about 6 hours apart), based on the
proportion of time that has elapsed between them at the required date.
