The Ukrainian government and pro-Russian rebels
have signed a truce deal to end almost five months of fighting. The two sides,
meeting in Belarusian capital Minsk ,
agreed to stop firing at 15:00 GMT. However, the rebels said the truce had not
changed their policy of advocating separation from Ukraine . September 5
In a
previous post [1] on the NATO summit in Wales we had used the chart for the
solar eclipse of April 29 and its progression to explain the event. Coincidentally,
for the Belarusian capital Minsk ,
the eclipse chart has the Grand Cross placed very significantly on the horizon axis.
Therefore, the following extract from the previous post is relevant here.
Hamal and Schedar can express as power struggles
amongst leaders or those who are headstrong, with lessons about how arrogance
creates struggle in the material world; and how compassion opens the way
through.
Perhaps, “compassion”
is not the right word in this context but we will see later how the stars point to
the need for compromise.
Notice that
progressing the eclipse chart to
September 5, the date of the ceasefire, brings the Grand Cross once again to an alignment with the horizon
axis. Delineations for elements of the Cross are:
Uranus-Pluto
Power struggles within groups; to recognize that a
threat of a separation or demand for independence can bring vindictive reactions [2]
Mars-Jupiter
Resolutions and decisions; the settlement of
conflicts [3]
Regular
readers would have observed that when planetary themes resonate with star
images major events occur. Here too we find that Mars [12li] on the progressed
Ascendant [11li] is amidst the stars of
the “holier-than-thou” Virgin and the “evil” Hydra. These star images reflect a
battle between those who latch onto political, scientific or religious
absolutes and persecute others who do not adhere to their ideas. Diana
Rosenberg [4] adds, “these stars bring about major changes in laws, mores,
governments and ways of thinking, often preceded, accompanied or followed
by “witch hunts” – explosions of fanatic, vicious intolerance, cruelty and
brutality. Issues include human rights, law, religious freedom vs oppression,
suppression, entrapment; whether to fight or compromise and/or give in.”
