Blind man Andrew Bailey's reader search goes viral

A blind man who put a note in a bookshop window seeking someone to read to him says he has been inundated with offers after the advert was tweeted. Andrew Bailey, 34, from Nunhead, south-east London, has Friedreich's ataxia - a degenerative disease which stopped him being able to read 15 years ago. A picture of the ad was posted on Twitter on Saturday and has been retweeted more than 1,000 times. Mr Bailey said the response made him "feel very good really". This example will illustrate how an eclipse which is almost a year old continues to create events. Shown here is the chart for the Full Moon lunar eclipse of October 18, 2013 at London that fell exactly on the meridian axis. For the stars that form the backdrop to the eclipse Moon [25ar], Diana Rosenberg writes:

Some enjoy a high level of physical capabilities, others must work to overcome disabilities, including sight or hearing problems. [1]

The eclipse Moon [25ar] and the MC [23ar] form a T-square with caring Jupiter [19cn]  in tropical Cancer placed in the 12th house.  It is opposite to the asteroid Astraea [18cp] that is linked to poor sight. About the 12th house Deborah Houlding writes:

Traditionally, however, it is a wholly unfortunate house, associated with sad events, sorrow, anguish of mind, tribulation, captivity, imprisonment, persecution, hard labour, all manner of affliction and self-undoing. It represents places that are denied access to public view, particularly those concerned with seclusion or isolation, or where one is restricted from living a carefree life-style, such as institutions or prisons. [2]

On the Ascendant [12le] is xi Cancri [13le23], the left eye of the Crab. This was a star of the Arabic Lunar Mansion, Al Tarf , “The Eyes” of the huge early Arab lion and Diana Rosenberg associates it with blindness and eye problems. Jupiter [19cn] is conjunct Mirza, gamma Canis Major [19cn46] in the head of the Greater Dog about which Diana writes “prone to head maladies, including eye and ear problems” [3]

Two asteroids that Martha Wescott links to eyes are Astraea and Young. In the eclipse chart Astraea [18cp34] is opposite Jupiter and square the eclipse while Young (2165)  at [9le07] is placed on the Ascendant [12le] square Hygiea [10ta09] linked to medical issues. [4]

Progressing the chart by the solar quotidian method brings the progressed Ascendant [7le] to a square with the Nodal Axis also activating the asteroids Young [9le] and Hygiea [10ta]. The Ascendant [7le] is conjunct the Bee-hive cluster Praesepe linked to blindness:

Eye issues or problems. This is the only area  mentioned by three ancient sources  - Ptolemy, Al Biruni and Manilius as affecting sight [5]

The North Node [7ta42] is conjunct the star kappa Aries [7ta28] in the Ram’s eye again linked to blindness [6].
