Germany Faces New Lufthansa Strike

Pilots at Germany's Lufthansa airline are set to walk out again on Monday just as train drivers end their weekend of strike action. The airline has cancelled 1,450 flights scheduled between midday Monday and 2300 Tuesday. Pilots want the airline to reconsider plans to alter their pension provisions. German rail travellers also faced cancellations and delays over the weekend as strikes hit the railways. Only about a third of inter-city trains were running. The Sun has just entered sidereal Libra on Oct.18. This is an important event in mundane astrology and covers the period upto January 15 when the Sun moves into sidereal Capricorn. Shown here is the Libra Ingress for Berlin, Germany. Notice the T-square aligned with the meridian axis. On the MC is Mercury the planet ruling transport and airlines, retrograde and opposite Uranus. It forms a T-square with Uranus and Pluto.

Uranus is the rebel among the planets. Pluto’s preferential subjects are power and control so that it can express as  absolutism and abuse of power.  A key phrase for the combination is:

To encounter psychological volatility and disregard for rules and role-expectations stemming from fear of being controlled.

However, the news informs us that this is the eighth strike since April. If we now look at the sidereal Capricorn Ingress chart, considered an annual chart by many astrologers, we notice a Grand Cross on the meridian axis once again containing Uranus-Pluto – the combination that we have associated with rebellion against authorities. The Libra ingress has, therefore, highlighted the same issues contained in the annual chart.

If we progress this chart to October 20, the date of the news, the Grand Cross aligns with the angles triggering the strike.

Let us go back to the Libra ingress chart and examine the stars on the angles. On the MC are the stars in the wing of the Virgin and Corvus, the Raven. This is an area that we have seen to be connected with aviation. On the Ascendant is the star Antares.

Alpha (α) Scorpius, Antares, [9sa58]   a red binary star, fiery red and emerald green, near the center of the constellation Scorpius. About this star Nick Fiorenza writes:

So if the stars on the MC are about aviation and those on the Ascendant about standing up against authority figures  with the combination do we have an airline strike?

Finally, lunar phases can act as the “minute” hand of the cosmic clock. The chart for Waning Crescent Moon of October 19 has the Uranus-Pluto square on the meridian axis. In this chart we have a 6^th to 10^th square. The 6^th house is employees or trade unions while the 10^th is the bosses.
