Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has appeared before
the International Criminal Court (ICC) where he faces charges of crimes against
humanity. He is the first serving head of state to come before the court in The Hague . He was called
to appear at the ICC "status conference" when the prosecution said
evidence needed to go ahead with a trial was being withheld. The charges -
which Mr Kenyatta denies - concern his alleged role in violence following the
2007 elections. BBC Oct 8. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-29530638
The Full
Moon eclipse of October 8 at the Hague is angular with
the Sun placed in the 10th house conjunct Venus on the MC. The eclipse axis
forms a T-square with Uranus-Pluto.
About the
current Uranus-Pluto square, Willow
writes:
The squares (tense, frictional, 90-degree aspects)
between these two bodies are in effect from 2012 through 2015 and bring
do-or-die clashes between those who desire a free, self-sovereign humanity
(Uranus in Aries) and those continuing the top-down, fascist agendas forced by
corporate business and corporate-ruled government (Pluto in Capricorn).
The last time Uranus in Aries squared Pluto (in
Cancer) coincided with the rise of the Third Reich and the lead-up to World War
II (1932-1934), which left 70 million or so dead.
Crimes
against humanity, therefore, appear to
be historically linked with the Uranus-Pluto square.
Venus
[10li] on the MC is conjunct the stars Vindemiatrix [10li] of
Virgo, the Virgin and omicron Hydrae [11li]. The constellation
Virgo was sometimes identified with the virgin goddess Iustitia or Astraea,
holding the scales of justice in her hand as the constellation Libra. Interestingly, many of the other mythological
female figures who were believed to represent Virgo include Dike (Greek
mythology), and Erigone (Roman mythology), all of whom represented Justice.
With
both the
Virgin and the Hydra here there is tremendous conflict between the
Virgin’s honest, upright will-to-do good and the Hydra’s dark lair of greed,
sensuality and arrogant self-interest so that there are issues of morality vs
amorality, corruption and greed vs justice for sins committed. [2]
