Texas Confirms Ebola Case

"One called Ophiuchus holds apart the serpent which with its mighty spirals [gyris] and twisted body encircles his own…The struggle will last for ever, since they wage it on level terms with equal powers." [Manilius, Astronomica, 1st century AD,  book 1, p.31].

A Texas hospital patient has tested positive for Ebola, making the patient the first case diagnosed in the United States. The test was conducted at the state public health laboratory in Austin. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed the positive result. The patient is an adult with a recent history of travel to West Africa. The patient developed symptoms days after returning to Texas from West Africa and was admitted into isolation on Sunday at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

Ebola is a severe, often fatal disease. Early symptoms of Ebola include sudden fever, fatigue and headache. Symptoms may appear anywhere from 2 to 21 days after exposure.

Ebola is spread through direct contact with blood, secretions or other bodily fluids or exposure to contaminated objects, such as needles. Ebola is not contagious until symptoms appear. News Release, September 30, 2014 https://www.dshs.state.tx.us/news/releases/20140930.aspx

Shown here is the chart for the current New Moon [1li08] of September 24 at Austin, Texas. The New Moon is  on the IC conjunct the medical asteroid Askalaphus [28vi56]. Both are in sidereal Virgo – a constellation associated with purity, hygiene and health issues.

On the descendant is Pluto [11cp]  conjunct Radio Source PKS 1643-223 [12cp59] on the ecliptic between the feet of Ophiuchus, and dim stars of the medicine man Ophiuchus, Hercules’ Apple Branch/Cerberus and the tail of Serpens . Diana Rosenberg links this area to bacteria and epidemics [1]. And as we said in a previous post [2] on Ebola, the Uranus-Pluto square can be interpreted as:

Uranus-Pluto: to see a sudden emergence (Uranus) of what was lying hidden (Pluto)

On the MC [28pi35] is the star Scheat, beta Pegasi [29pi33]. About Scheat [3] Nick Fiorenza writes:

Scheat also brings attention to the waters of life and to the purity of our body fluids, especially our "lymph," which means Flowing Spirit of the Living Waters of Life. Scheat pertains to all waters of the world, but also to body fluids, especially water's relationship to the purification of the physical vehicle and the body's requirement for refined life force energies to express through the fluids molecular matrix. Scheat also brings attention to our blood, sacred sexual fluids and saliva, as well as to the types of fluids that we bring into our bodies.
