The Justice Department is claiming, in a
little-noticed court filing, that a federal agent had the right to impersonate
a young woman online by creating a Facebook page in her name without her
knowledge. Government lawyers also are defending the agent’s right to scour the
woman’s seized cell phone and to post photographs — including racy pictures of
her and even one of her young son and niece — to the phony social media
account, which the agent was using to communicate with suspected criminals. The
woman, Sondra Arquiett, who then went by the name Sondra Prince, first learned
her identity had been commandeered in 2010 when a friend asked about the
pictures she was posting on her Facebook page. There she was, for anyone with
an account to see — posing on the hood of a BMW, legs spread, or, in another,
wearing only skimpy attire. She was surprised; she hadn’t even set up a
Facebook page. BuzzFeed News Oct 7 http://bzfd.it/1vPLY2l
One would
imagine that this is not big news. However, it is news of this sort that
illustrates some deep astrological principles that we might otherwise miss. The
chart for the current lunar eclipse at Washington ,
DC is shown here. On the
Ascendant is the Sun with Venus square
Pluto. Venus rules women in astrology and Pluto is the dark god of the
underworld who violates women. As mentioned in previous posts the stars
conjunct Venus are those of the Virgin and the Hydra. Hydra is a symbol for
evil while the Virgin goddesses were connected to Justice so that it is not
surprising that we are hearing of news where the woman has filed a case against
the Justice Department for violating her rights.
We must
also not forget what Uranus (Aries) square Pluto (Capricorn) stands for [1].
The archetypal clash: courageous/warrior-like
actions of individuals on behalf of the people's liberties (Uranus in Aries)
vs. an intensification/consolidation of power by institutional structures
facing threats to their authority (Pluto in Capricorn).
On the MC we have the TNPs Hades-Kronos [2] [3].
HADES:
Disgust/distaste; debilitation or deterioration; interest in the past (inc.
past lives)-thus history and primitive origins; handling highly detailed work,
chores or drudgery; messy situations; depressing emotions; research;
investigation into the root cause of problems.
KRONOS:
Authoritative positions; questioning of competency; having differences of
opinion; dealing with red tape, timing or jumping bureaucratic hoops; laws;
police; legislators; the father; executives; governmental leaders.
Hades-Kronos: to
note disgust with the government, with regulations or leadership; to see that
government or authorities indulge in dirty business or hidden activities; to
see people in charge cause embarrassment or are experienced as degrading.
