Germans Abandon Major News Sites in Anger Over Slanted Russia Coverage

What's going on in the German media is huge.  It is one of the most popular subjects on our site.  The US and UK media have been hugely biased in their coverage of Russia, but German media has been far, far, worse, to the point which strains credulity.  Now it turns out that part of the reason is CIA fiddling with German media outlets.  Coming on the heels of the Snowden revelations, this has Germans seriously ticked-off.  Here's the latest revelation from our correspondent in Germany. They call it the Ulfkotte-effect. And it's beginning to resemble an avalanche. Since the publication of Udo Ulfkotte's “Gekaufte Journalisten“ in September – now a #1 Amazon bestseller, in which he charges that the CIA regularly bribes top German journalists, himself included, – German readers' disaffection towards their mainstream media appears to have crossed a point of no return. Granted, sales of newspapers and magazines have fallen everywhere, not just in Germany. But this is different. This is a boycott that is affecting web traffic. Germans are steering clear of mainstream media websites. November 6; http://bit.ly/1wRx0LW

Eclipses tend to bring about endings and new beginnings and thereby  offer us an opportunity  to resynchronize our selves with the ever-changing cosmic currents supporting our evolutionary progression in consciousness. The New Moon [0sc] eclipse of October 23 conjoins stars  Theta Carina and Miaplacidus [2sc] of Argo Navis. The Celestial Ship Argo Navis is loosely speaking about migration to “new lands”.  But symbolically speaking it also represents new mindsets that support our evolutionary journeys in life.

Shown here is the chart for the last Solar Eclipse of Oct. 23 drawn for Berlin. Notice the powerful Grand Cross on the meridian axis. Mercury [17li] on the IC [16li] is the ruler of the 3rd house. This house rules communications in general as well as news, newspapers, magazines, journalism etc [1]. Here Mercury is conjunct Algorab, delta Corvus, the Crow and stars of the Virgin.

Corvus is the Latin name for both the raven and the crow and these two birds are usually paired together in mythology. From the same family, their obvious intelligence and ingenuity, as well as their distinctive caw, has given them a widespread association with trickery, storytelling, the relaying of messages, and the serving of self-interest. But the colour of their plumage has also drawn a universal connection with malevolence, sinister forces, and ominous warnings. The stars of Corvus share this reputation and the classical myths that relate to the constellation speak of mistrust, shameful motives, insincerity, glorification in the misfortune of others, and the bearing of bad news [2].

The Crow is a talking bird, and these are people in love with gossip, tidings, what’s happening, what’s new, what’s up – many journalists, newsmen and media people are born under these stars. Gutsy and intellectually curious they often reach positions of power and influence but weakness of character and poor judgement can cause them to become nasty, destructive and even malevolent. The worst of them become greedy, scavenging and exploiting opportunists.  But also here are the stars of the Virgin which longs for “truth” and “purity”. Both the stars of the Crow and the Virgin are  in tropical Libra which seeks a sense of balance [3].

The highly transformative Grand Cross containing the Uranus-Pluto square seeks to right any imbalance in this area. Uranus is about radical changes while Pluto is about endings and new beginnings. Pluto in Capricorn focuses on all institutions and the Plutonian process involves increasing extremes followed by collapse as increasing exposures of scandals undermine their integrity.

One of the legs of the Grand Cross has the TNPs Hades and Kronos. The TNP Hades [4cn]  is conjunct the star Mu (μ) Gemini, Tejat Posterior,[5cn] in the right heel of the northern Twin, Castor, in the constellation of the Twins. About this star Nick Fiorenza [4] writes: “Tejat will bring forth that which has been suppressed.”

Finally, notice that on the Ascendant is M44 (NGC 2632) or epsilon (ε), a cluster of stars better known by the name the "Beehive Cluster", or the Latin equivalent, Praesepe, Praesaepe, which not only means a "hive" but also a "Manger", or "Crib".

Praesepe embodies the essence of the Scarab / Cancer theme: emergence out of darkness, dogma, and delusion, out of the antiquated entrapments we had been living in, and our transmutation from darkness into light. Praesepe is of new beginnings, migration, shedding old skins, skeletons, and cocoons. It is of emerging out of the frenetic confusion of mass consciousness; finding our new path and direction; leaving behind old dwellings and the structures of consciousness they represent; and getting out of our personal or collective dogma and the darkness it creates. [5]

Progressing the eclipse chart to November 6, the date of the news, brings the eclipse luminaries to the IC triggering the issues highlighted above.
