'Paris tiger': Big cat loose near French capital

Police and fire officials are searching for a tiger on the loose in a town outside Paris, local authorities say. A woman alerted officials after spotting the big cat in a supermarket car park in Montevrain, east of the French capital, local media reported. The Montevrain council said on its Facebook page that an area of woodland had been roped off. Residents have been advised to stay indoors, and children are being kept in schools. It was unclear where the animal came from, though there is a big cat park near Montevrain. The owner of the lntermarche supermarket in Montevrain said his wife had spotted the animal at about 08:30 (07:30 GMT). BBC; Nov.13. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-30035666

It is news stories  like these that show the power of images left behind by the ancient star gazers.  Shown here is the chart for the Last Quarter Moon of Nov. 14 at Paris. The Moon [22le] is conjunct Jupiter [22le] and the stars Algenubi, epsilon Leonis and Raselas, mu Leonis in the constellation of the Lion. Remember that Jupiter is the lord of the 12th house – a house which rules wild animals [1]. In addition on the IC of the chart with Kronos [9cn] is 5 Lynx – a star in the constellation of the Lynx.

Finally, if we make the chart for 08:30 (07:30 GMT) when the animal was spotted on Nov.13 we have  a Venus-Saturn [25sc]conjunction rising in alignment with Ke Kouan, beta Lupi [25sc] – a star in the constellation of the wild beast Lupus. Diana Rosenberg [2] lists “animal encounters and animal attacks” among events in this area. The Venus-Saturn conjunction is square Jupiter, which we saw earlier, is conjunct the stars of Leo.
