Earlier this month a cow wandered into a southern Utah slot canyon. But it
won’t be coming out in one piece. Some of it may not come out at all after a
rancher’s effort to rescue the animal ended in its death, dismemberment and
partial incineration. The ranch hands tried to drive the cow out of the canyon
the way it had come in, but only made the situation worse. After it became
stuck, they put it down with a gunshot to the head. Then they cut out the head
and front quarters, but the rear half remained wedged in a narrow passage. Finally,
the ranchers piled wood under the carcass and lit it in hopes the flames would
consume enough of the cow that it could be pulled out. Instead, debris from
above crashed down, putting an end to the comedy of errors. Dec 18; Salt Lake Tribune
Here again,
as in the several previous examples, we use the sidereal Capricorn Ingress
chart. Only this time we will progress it using the Wynn Key method to December
18, 2014, the date of the news. Notice that transit Saturn and Admetus oppose
each other and form a T-square with the MC. In addition, the radix ingress
asteroids Diana [0pi] and Lacrimosa [28le] align with the meridian axis.
ADMETUS: Facing blockages; frustrations; getting
stuck; rocky landscapes.
DIANA: animals.
LACRIMOSA: Death.
For Admetus
with Saturn, Martha Wescott gives us a phrase that is very relevant here: “getting
stuck between a rock and a hard place”.
And of the combination Diana-Lacrimosa is referring to the death of an animal.
