New insight into “bubbles”

Uncork a bottle of champagne, and as the pressure of the liquid is abruptly removed, bubbles immediately form and then rapidly begin the process of "coarsening," in which larger bubbles grow at the expense of smaller ones. This fundamental nonequilibrium phenomenon is known as "Ostwald ripening," and though it is most familiar for its role in bubbly beverages, it is also seen in a wide range of scientific systems including spin systems, foams and metallic alloys. On a much larger scale, Ostwald ripening can be observed in a power-generating turbine. Most power stations rely on boilers to convert water into steam, but the phase transition involved is highly complex. During the phase transition, no one is exactly sure what's occurring inside the boiler—especially how bubbles form. So a team of researchers from the University of Tokyo, Kyusyu University and RIKEN in Japan set out to find an answer. In the Journal of Chemical Physics, from AIP Publishing, the researchers describe how they were able to simulate bubble nucleation from the molecular level by harnessing the K computer at RIKEN, the most powerful system in Japan. In the month of December two important events happen which are connected to each other. First on December 15, Uranus and Pluto square each other for the 6th time. And then Uranus which was retrograde goes direct on December 21.  During Uranus station direct It's not unusual  to reach a clear decision  about something you've been wrestling with or researching.

A chart drawn for the Uranus station at Tokyo, Japan is shown here. Notice the significant placement of the Uranus-Pluto square with respect to the horizon axis.

Richard Tarnas identifies Uranus-Pluto squares to be linked to both “volcanic eruptions” as well as “scientific and technological breakthroughs”. What is the connection?  Much in the same way as volcanic eruptions bring  into the open material lying hidden in the depths of the earth so too scientific breakthroughs bring to our conscious understanding, material that was lying deeply embedded in our unconscious.

In this square Uranus  is conjunct Erakis, mu Cephei, a Garnet Star in the King’s head. Here brilliant King Cepheus and high flying Pegasus inspire extraordinary achievements that carry humankind into new knowledge and realizations. Among events in this area, Diana Rosenberg lists “gas events, underground springs, gases, heat and pressures”.

Uranus-Pluto also form a T-square with the TNP Zeus that is linked to machines, boilers and any equipment that concentrates and harnesses energy for accomplishment so that the  T-square aptly describes the news.

Notice also that we have a Grand Trine anchored to the MC. The TNP Apollon associated with the multiplier effect, growth and expansion is in a trine aspect with Neptune, the planet linked to liquids, gases and “bubbles” – literal and figurative. Together Apollon-Neptune can be said to govern the growth of bubbles! Both these form a Grand Trine with the TNP Hades. Among other things, the TNP Hades is about research into root causes so that it fits in perfectly with the news.

However, the Grand Trine has another not so pleasant side (Hades) that we might soon see. As we mentioned before Neptune can be a literal as well as a figurative “bubble”. Readers who are familiar with the world of finance would know that our current stock market is a bubble and all bubbles eventually burst. The transit of Saturn always acts as a reality check  on Neptune. In early 2015, Saturn will reach a square with Neptune that will still be part of the Apollon-Hades-Neptune Grand Trine. Grand Trines can be fairly insulated but this could be a rude wake-up shock to the stock market and international finance in general.
