Putin visit strengthens Russia-Turkey economic co-operation

The Russian President is to visit Turkey on December 1 to discuss trade and energy. His talks with Turkish President Erdogan will focus on the Blue Stream gas pipeline from Russia, as well as the building of a $20 billion nuclear power plant. President Putin and Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are due to meet in Ankara on Monday. “In recent decades, energy has been playing the role of a ‘locomotive’ in our trade and economic cooperation. In terms of volume, Turkey is the second largest buyer of Russian natural gas after Germany, which is delivered through the ‘Western corridor’ with transit through Ukraine, Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria, and through the Blue Stream gas pipeline,” Putin said in an interview to Anadolu Agency ahead of his visit to Turkey. With a population of more than 80 million Turkey is a strategic partner for Russia as it diversifies dependence away from Europe. RT. Mundane astrology, the study of heavenly cycles upon groups and nations is the most ancient branch of astrology. The affairs of a nation can be judged from the horoscope eclipses, lunations, great conjunctions, stations, comets and ingresses. Among these, ingresses and eclipses have a traditional reputation as  important mundane events [1].

Extending this ancient idea further, ingress and eclipse charts drawn for the midpoint between national capitals should help us judge the nature of relationship between any two countries. Shown here is the April 15 Full Moon lunar eclipse chart at the midpoint between Ankara, Turkey and Moscow, Russia (47N50; 35E13). Notice that the eclipse luminaries along with the asteroid Juno are anchored to the powerful Grand Cross straddling the horizon axis. Here Juno is conjunct Uranus. About this conjunction Nick Fiorenza [2] writes:

Juno is the asteroid of covenant relationships, soul colleagues, and true lovers. Juno is not only of personal relations, but also those of a business nature to those of political leaders and nations of the world. In the astrological chart, Juno indicates the nature of the issues and opportunities in significant relations of all sorts. Mature Juno is diplomatic, tactful, cooperative, and mutually trusting.

A Juno-Uranus synthesis in general can be about making radical if not spontaneous changes in relationships and partnerships of all types. It may be about partnerships breaking apart and new ones forming, or it may be about existing partnerships breaking away from the conformity of the past and exploring new territory and new frontiers. It may motivate partnerships to evolve in new or unconventional ways and that create innovative ways forward.

There are several days during the year when the progressed angles touch the Grand Cross. From the eclipse chart progressed to December 1, 2014, we can clearly see that this is one such date since the progressed Ascendant conjoins Uranus triggering the potential of the entire Cross. Mars is linked to “energy” and the TNP Zeus to “fuels” so that if we combine asteroid Juno related to business partnerships with Mars-Zeus, it is not too difficult to see why the Russia-Turkey relationship is about energy and fuels.

Finally, we must not forget that Jupiter [13cn] in the Grand Cross is conjunct the star omega Geminorum [14cn] of the Twins (in Castor’s hand holding harp…symbol of harmony and peaceful interaction?). The Twins link individuals together in larger groups or organizations that can serve a purpose far greater than the separate parties can accomplish. This includes trade and commerce  between countries, moving nations to realize that we are all interdependent.
