Apollo – god of light –

CNN's Anchor
leaves Cable News Network after 34 years following controversial Twitter debate
with pro-Israel activists over terror attack on Charlie Hebdo. Veteran CNN
anchor Jim Clancy issued a statement Friday (Jan 16) saying he is leaving the
network, where he has worked for 34 years, one week after he was involved in a
controversial debate on Twitter with pro-Israeli activists over the attack on
satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo in Paris .

The CNN Center
is located in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia. We begin by presenting two charts (a)
the sidereal Capricorn Return (“Capsolar”) (b) the Waning Crescent Moon phase
of Jan.17 both drawn for Atlanta. We will see that both these carry the same
theme and thus resonate resonate with each other.
The
Capsolar has a Grand Cross containing the Uranus-Pluto square and straddles the
meridian. Martha Wescott [1] gives us the following keyphrases for the relevant
combinations:
Uranus-Pluto
Change or unexpected reactions based on
resentments, ultimatums and threats to control; feelings of being
psychologically or emotionally overwhelmed or other crises that leave people
with few options.
Hades-Kronos
To see humiliation or loss of position for a famous
person; to be aware of situations where compliance with policies, regulations
or procedures is demeaning.
That the
foregoing delineations apply to Jim Clancy’s situation is perfectly obvious. But
does the chart say anything about a media personality – a news anchor? Yes, it
does. Notice that on the MC [12li] are the stars Gienah, gamma Corvi [11li] and
Algorab, delta Corvi [14li] of Corvus the Crow and Vindemiatrix, epsilon
Virginis of the Virgin.
About the
stars in this area Diana Rosenberg
writes:
The Crow is
a talking bird, and these are people in love with gossip, tidings, what’s
happening, what’s new, what’s up – many journalists, newsmen and media people
are born under these stars. The worst of them become greedy, scavenging and
exploiting opportunists. But also here
are the stars of the Virgin which longs for “truth” and “purity”. Few other skyscapes are so polarized between
light and dark, clear air and suffocating darkness, with a tremendous conflict
between the Virgin’s honest, upright will-to-do good and the Hydra’s dark lair
of greed and arrogant self-interest; there is trouble with the law; there are
both oppressions and struggles against them and transits to these stars often
bring about major changes in laws, mores, governments and ways of thinking
often preceded, accompanied or followed by witch hunts [2].
Let us
remind ourselves that the Uranus-Pluto represents the archetypal clash:
courageous/warrior-like actions of individuals on behalf of the people's
liberties (Uranus in Aries) vs. an intensification/consolidation of power by
institutional structures facing threats to their authority (Pluto in
Capricorn).
Finally,
the chart for the Waning Crescent Moon of Jan.17 carries the same Grand Cross
on the angles re-emphasising the themes mentioned above.
