A rug has been removed from a sheriff's office in Florida after it was
noticed that it read "in dog we trust" instead of "in God we
trust". The $500 (£329) mat lay at the entrance to the office in Pinellas County for two months before someone
noticed, a spokeswoman said. The error was made by the rug's manufacturer and
it is being replaced. Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said they were looking at
auctioning it for charity, the Tampa Bay Times reports. Jan.15 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-30828694
None of
these “slips” are a coincidence. Freud believed that information in the
unconscious emerges in slips of the tongue, jokes, dreams, illness symptoms,
and the associations people make between ideas. Here is an example. Cathy calls
up her mother on Mother’s Day and says, “You’re the beast, Mom,” when she
consciously intended to say, “You’re the best, Mom.” According to
psychoanalytic theory, this slip of the tongue, known as a Freudian slip,
reveals her unconscious anger toward her mother [1]. Here too the person who
made the carpet may actually be expressing a latent public anger against the
police and the sheriff’s office.
Does the
astrology behind this event support our thesis? Let’s find out. Shown here is
the chart for the Last Quarter Moon of Jan.13. Here we find the TNP Poseidon
[2] connected with religion and by extension with God in a sharp semiisquare
with the MC [26vi] which in turn is conjunct the star Cor Caroli, alpha (α)
Canes Venatici [25vi] [3]. The usual illustration of the constellation, Canes
Venatici, is of two Greyhounds straining at the leash held in the hand of
Bootes. (see image). So there we have once again an illustration of how
meaningful mundane charts of Moon phases are. This one immediately connects “God”
to “dog”! But that is not all. The Moon and the Sun make sharp hard aspects to
the Hades/Poseidon midpoint. The TNP Hades [2] is, among other things, linked
to mistakes while Poseidon is about religion or God so that the combination
Hades/Poseidon can be a mistake connected with a religious motif.
P.S. We
mustn’t forget that we are now in the shadow of Mercury station retrograde (Jan
20.) Mercury retrogrades are about mistakes in the written or spoken word.
