Zealots for neoliberalism have
created a humanitarian tragedy across the continent. It is our destiny to fight
back - Alexis Tsipras
Alexis
Tsipras is a Greek politician and the leader of the Coalition of the Radical
Left (SYRIZA).He was first elected to the Greek Parliament in 2009, and was the
Party of the European Left nominee for President of the European Commission in
the 2014 European Parliament election. On 25 January 2015, Tsipras led SYRIZA
to victory in a snap general election, receiving 36% of the vote and 149 out of
the 300 seats in the Parliament.
Alexis
Tsipras was born on July 28, 1974 at 1:30 am; Athens [1]. Since ancient times, astrologers have linked
the destiny of a nation to the horoscope of Kings and rulers. Based on the
above data, the table below gives the current solar arc progressions of
asteroids to Tsipras’ radix Sun.

Keyphrases
for asteroids are available at reference [2] and duplicated below.
BACCHUS: Excess; addiction.
EURYDIKE or Eurydices: Dependence on people.
NIOBE: Humbling lessons through excess pride.
TORO: Machismo; bullying; intimidation.
Combining these
phrases we have:
Bacchus-Eurydike-Niobe-Toro: There has been an addictive dependence on
others. Sorrow is experienced as pride is hurt because weak and dependent people are bullied or face
abusive behaviour.
Readers
would agree that the above delineation of the asteroids describes the current
condition of Greece .
Shown here
is Tsipras’ precessed solar return chart. Notice that the TNP Admetus occupies
the MC and makes hard aspects to the Uranus-Pluto square. Martha-Wescott
interprets Admetus-Uranus-Pluto as follows:
Attempts to contain issues connected with debt
finally erupt explosively; after a period of resisting change, it comes in with
a bang and may be the result of ultimatums, ruthless treatment, or unhealthy or
covert dependencies.
Progressing
the solar return chart brings, quite appropriately, the fortunate Sun-Jupiter conjunction to the
descendant on Jan.27, the date of his swearing in as Prime minister. In this
chart the Sun is square the stars Caph and Alphirk. Summarized below is Nick Fiorenza’s account of these
stars [3]. Could the situation of the Greek people have been better described?
Caph, the benevolent hand of the Queen and Alphirk
of King Cepheus. Also adding to theme are Alpha Fornax of the fiery furnace;
Tyl of Draco. Tyl is the Human Cry--not that of grief, but of anguish, of the
pain of the human plight. It is the
scream of our human struggle. Tyl's cry is for fulfillment at a very
fundamental human level. Tyl is the cry of desire for one's physical needs to
be met, for one's truth to be heard, and for one's dreams to be realized. Tyl
is the burning cry in the initiatory fires of life. South of the ecliptic lies
Fornax the Furnace that provides the transmutational fire while in the whale
(Cetus) of human experience creating the alchemical process of turning mortal
to god.
Although there are stars in Cassiopeia and Cepheus
that embody the human aspects of arrogance and denial (as presented in the
story of the Royal Family), there are also stars in these constellations that
are of a refined quality. These are Caph, the palm of Queen Cassiopeia's hand,
and Alphirk, the truly wise essence of the King. Both these stars bring
empathetic support, a door is easily opened in the physical, but only
manifesting after a long and arduous journey through the initiatory fires of
life. They lift us from the struggles of
life, or alter conditions in a way that otherwise would be impossible through
our own power alone. Alphirk is sometimes indicative of a male in an
authoritative position offering aid.
