Congestion at America's busiest ports about to be eased

A group of shipping companies and a powerful dockworkers union reached a tentative labor deal late on Friday (Fe. 20) after nine months of negotiations, settling a dispute that disrupted the flow of cargo through 29 U.S. West Coast ports and snarled trans-Pacific maritime trade with Asia.  The agreement, confirmed in a joint statement by the two sides, was reached three days after U.S. Labor Secretary Thomas Perez arrived in San Francisco to broker a deal with the help of a federal mediator who had joined the talks six weeks earlier. http://read.bi/17qSqGm

This news is best understood if we start with the October 23, 2014 solar eclipse. Shown here is the eclipse chart drawn for San Francisco. Notice that the eclipse is not only placed in the 9th house that is linked with shipping [1] but also conjunct the star Mia Placidus, the beta star of the celestial ship Argo Navis. Three other entities define the eclipse. It is conjunct the asteroid Pallas, quincunx TNP Admetus and square the asteroid Juno.  Martha Wescott provides the following delineations:

ADMETUS: Facing blockages; biding your time; encountering delays, frustrations, complications or the need for something else to happen BEFORE success or progress.
PALLAS: strategies of relating.
JUNO: Partners; maintenance of one's rights or position with other; question of rights and fairness/compromise.

Admetus/Pallas
"The Waiting Game"--patience becomes not only a virtue but a tactic!  Delays are "part of the strategy, part of the plan"--as is the attempt  to endure.

Admetus/Juno
Question of rights and fairness/compromise have blocked or frustrated relationships.

Progressing the eclipse chart to Friday, February 20 when the deal was reached we find that  powerful Grand Cross now straddles the horizon axis. The Uranus-Pluto element is associated with a breakdown or a breakthrough…and with Uranus aspecting Admetus ....in matters that are long delayed.

More significantly on the progressed Ascendant [14cn] is the magnificent star Canopus [15cn]. Alpha (α) Carina, Canopus, is a white binary star in the Keel of the ship Argo Navis, the brightest star in the constellation of Argo Navis, the Great Ship!
