Conscientious objector Yonatan Shapira

Yonatan Shapira was born on an Israeli military base the year before his father flew fighter jets in the October War of 1973. Thirty years later, twelve of them spent as an air force pilot himself, Shapira rejected the military. In 2003, he wrote a letter, pledging not to fly over the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Shapira is among the few Israelis to have declared support for the Palestinian-led call for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel. He has also been attacked by the Israeli military for attempting to sail towards and break the siege of Gaza. Feb. 10 http://bit.ly/1DlmtND

Notice the powerful Grand Cross on the angles makes this chart very significant.  The Uranus-Pluto square in the Cross is the archetypal clash: courageous/warrior-like actions of individuals on behalf of the people's liberties (Uranus in Aries) vs. an intensification/consolidation of power by institutional structures facing threats to their authority (Pluto in Capricorn). Is Uranus-figure Shapira behaving so recklessly and/or self-importantly, with such little regard for the collective welfare, as to threaten national security?  Or is it that the Plutonian Israeli security service taking its authority to an extreme is  demonstrating that too much power indeed corrupts, and needs Shapira’s patriotic move to rein it in?

Notice that between February 8^th to 12^th, the Sun is squaring the combination. The date of the news item February 10 is covered in this period. The startling revelation here is the Sabian symbol [2] for the Moon [20sc21] that describes the situation perfectly.
