Greece will not negotiate with EU-IMF creditors

Greece's new left-wing finance minister has said he will not negotiate the terms of the country's bailout  with the "troika" team from the European Union and International Monetary Fund (IMF) overseeing it. Yanis Varoufakis said on Friday that instead he wanted direct talks with eurozone leaders, to try to cancel some of the money Greece owes. Varoufakis made the comments during a meeting in Athens with Jeroen Dijsselbloem, head of the eurozone finance ministers' group, marking the start of Greece's drive to persuade its creditors to ease the strict terms of the bailout.  The Greek minister said his country had no intention of cooperating with a mission from the EU, European Central Bank and IMF, which had been due to return to Athens. Varoufakis gave no indication of what Greece would do if it cannot reach an agreement by a February 28 deadline, when the bailout ends. http://bit.ly/1KtTuWF

Cardinal Ingresses of the Sun are traditionally considered to be important mundane events. Of these the chart for the Winter Solstice also called the Capricorn Ingress is looked upon as the master chart for the year. Shown here is the current Capricorn Ingress chart drawn for Athens, Greece. Notice that it is significant for the place since it puts a powerful T-square on the angles.

Martha Wescott Lang  provides the following delineations for the elements of the T-square.

Pluto-Hades:  problems and decline through debt, reliance on credit, and loss of integrity; to recognize that poverty, lack, depression can motivate (or create)  upheaval. (Combine this with Kronos – Pressures through debt and general deterioration is felt by the leadership).

Uranus-Pluto: to see attempts to force change or rupture; to see individuals can disconnect or distance themselves from others as a form of control of events or out of fear of being powerless of and giving others “an edge” over them.

Venus-Pluto : Money given as credit  may be used to control others. A return to integrity demands an end to unhealthy dependencies.

The TNP Admetus is placed in the 8th house connected with national debt. Among its various manifestations, Admetus rules delays, withdrawal or an unwillingness to participate in any arrangement.

Progressing the ingress chart to February 28 bailout deadline aligns the Saturn-Admetus opposition with the horizon axis. This opposition makes hard aspects to Uranus-Pluto.  Any of the following outcomes listed below may manifest.

Uranus-Admetus-Pluto:  to feel pressured to change; to resist innovations or changes as a control device or within the context of a power struggle;  to delay making changes because of debt or credit limits;  after a period of resisting change it comes with a bang and maybe the result of ultimatums, ruthless treatment or unhealthy or covert dependencies.
